Watson and thehamish love pancakes. So I am sure they would love Breakfast Bread. I am watching my carb intake so just a small slice for me. Thank You.
I have gotten better over the years. Every once in a while I will eat something that has honey in it. Either baked in or put on top. So I really don't have to worry. I shouldn't have said I can't breathe but I get congested.
Maple dough - yum!
ReplyDelete:-)
DeleteNice, I am cooking this weekend but not been told what I am doing yet ;-)
ReplyDeleteIan
Cool beans. Do you enjoy cooking?
DeleteMmmmm Yum!
ReplyDelete:-)
DeleteYou know what I love most of all? This adorable, quirky drawing! Happy day to ya, Wonder Woman!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Martha. And a happy day to you as well. Chores are done for the day, soon to prep for supper.
DeleteHow goes you?
You know something's good when you'll eat it raw.
ReplyDeleteVery true.
Deletemaple water, how creative.
ReplyDeleteI like to hydrate my flour with all kinds of stuff. So fun.
DeleteDo you like to bake breads?
Have you ever tried homemade granola bars? I eat Cliff Bars from the store, but my son is allergic to nuts.
ReplyDeleteDoes he enjoy Cliff Bars?
DeleteHe can't eat them. I found a nut-free recipe online.
Delete:)
My bad, as I didn't understand that the Cliff Bars had nuts. Glad you found a formula. I've not make bars in ages. Just granola crumbles.
DeleteThe smells of baking must drive the dogs crazy!
ReplyDeleteThey are super smart, they ALWAYS know when a bake is theirs. Otherwise, they're not interested.
DeleteCan you send me over some? It sounds delicious!
ReplyDeleteAs long as you promise not to reheat it in a microwave.
DeleteI love dough! And maple water? I'm totally intrigued!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy hydrating flour with many different liquids. Really fun stuff.
DeleteHydrating with 100% homemade chicken stock is killer when using the bread for stuffing.
So. Flippin'. Good.

ReplyDeleteI am watching my carb intake so just a small slice for me.
Thank You.
Blogger messed me up...
DeleteI wonder if you are allergic to honey.
I have to watch how much I have and if I eat raw honey I can't breathe.
cheers, parsnip
Why do you watch your carb intake? Is it all carbs? Or is it limited to refined?
DeleteTo answer your question, I am not allergic to any of the types of honey that I use. Which is good because I bake with it often.
Why though, do you even eat some of it? If it causes you problems ... why not terminate all use of honey?
I have gotten better over the years. Every once in a while I will eat something that has honey in it. Either baked in or put on top. So I really don't have to worry.
DeleteI shouldn't have said I can't breathe but I get congested.
Ohhhh, that's at least better than not breathing.
DeleteHow's the pup today?
Yummy! I'm a sucker for cookie dough and used to eat it all the time as a kid - my mom was quite the baker. Delicious!
ReplyDeleteYou just reminded me that I forgot to make cookies today. Crap.
DeleteDid your mom pass on the baking gene to you?
I just made a large batch of tomato soup. No maple bread though.
ReplyDeleteCool beans. Homemade?
DeleteIt sounds really good. :)
ReplyDeleteHey, great job on your personal blogs.
DeleteAn artist and a baker… and a former dough eater… the mysteries just never end! :) :)
ReplyDeleteI nearly won the gold but someone else was able to eat more raw dough than me. So close though. So close.
DeleteMaple dough? Sounds good!
ReplyDeleteNice to see you did another post. I was wondering where the heck ya went. Very cool about your new project and the lack of hectic muck.
DeleteLove your drawings, they are so happy.
ReplyDeleteI use honey water in my breads and the yeast loves it.
Yes, I agree. Honey works wonderfully. Thanks for the nice words about my stick cartoons.
DeleteMy hubby not so long ago bought me my first tablet and it came with a pen.
