I'm excited to start this week because after removing the items listed, my reward is (drum roll please), that I get to put 100 percent of my attention on repairs.
LIST OF DEMOED STUFF (so far)
Floor-to-ceiling pantry thingy
Bar (ugly-ass bar)
Movie room closet
Mirrors on walls
Mantel looking thing
Tall bathroom cabinet
1 shelf in hallway
2 cabinets in hallway
Fun! Tearing stuff down is cathartic, but rebuilding and repairing is the creative part.ReplyDelete
Yes! Mudding-up walls is an art. It's really one giant craft project.Delete
Happy New Week to YOU :)
Have fun playing in the mud! :)ReplyDelete
Now you can do it your way!ReplyDelete
You got it, Cookie.Delete
Keep us posted on your progress, good luck with this next stage!ReplyDelete
Will do. Thanks.Delete
You are a brave chicklette to do it yourself. I wouldn't trust myself. Good luck!ReplyDelete
I had no idea all of this was in me but I'm sure glad it is.Delete
I always prefer the demo to the building, seems easier lolReplyDelete
Drywall mudding, always a good time!ReplyDelete
I had no idea it was this much fun.Delete
Do you enjoy it?
I wish I had a cute outfit like that to do demo-ing in, especially that T-shirt with the slogan - and the blue crops.ReplyDelete
It's a real shirt, too. Tim bought it online. I don't know the name of the shop but if you google, "sometimes I'm afraid of zombies" it might show up.Delete
Oh good, off Googling now.Delete
This is the part I would not want to do. Decluttering is one thing, repairs have to be done by someone who knows what they're doing. That's not me.ReplyDelete
Thanks for the mention and wow, on your stuff. You guys are rockin' it.Delete
My husband is pretty good at 'mudding' walls to repair them before he paints. Good luck and have fun.ReplyDelete
Here, we call it, mudding-up. Or muddin'up. It's great fun. I love it.Delete
Sounds like an awesome day. Mine was all cooking and baking. The house smells a-ma-zing! Good stuff about the repairs. I bet your place will look brand new when you're done.ReplyDelete
Got any food pictures to share?Delete
Cooking and baking here too. But that's every ding dong day. But for today, I'm baking apples and pumpkins.
Oh the smells. I love them all.
I hope you show pictures! Me? I came home from work with an upset stomach. Feeling a little better after a nap.ReplyDelete
Glad you're feeling better after your nap. Sorry to read about your daughter and her boyfriend. Ack. Not fun.Delete
Woo Hoo. And happy dances.ReplyDelete
Soon comes the best part The decorating !ReplyDelete
How goes your papers? I read on Norma's page, three bags are gone. Wow. So great. Congrats.Delete
I wish mudding walls was all I had to. I'm trying to fix up a garage that's beyond dirty. I had killed 3 spiders already.ReplyDelete
What kind of spiders?Delete
I do like your outfit, pink is my favourite colour.
All the best Jan
Nothing screams zombie fun, like a little pink. As long as it's not on my countertops. That's too much for me.Delete
What are you eating today? Hope something yummy.
For dinner had some chicken with broccoli and green beans ... delicious.Delete
Although for tomorrow I've found a very nice salmon recipe using cauliflower mash and broccoli - we love broccoli, but don't have it every evening!
All the best Jan
That all sounds yummy. We love broccoli and eat so much of it. In fact, I'm having it for lunch again today.Delete
A happy dance or roll for you from me today!ReplyDelete
You are such a busy bee!ReplyDelete
If I could do such work I would be rich. As it is I have to hire everything done.ReplyDelete
We aren't rich, that's why we have to do it ourselves. BUT, I'll take it. This is most fun.Delete
Enjoy it Ivy. I must admit it wouldn't do anything for me.ReplyDelete
It sounds like you're enjoying it.ReplyDelete
Oooh, that is awesome you are making such good progress!ReplyDelete
You really have been working hard. Have fun with the repairs.ReplyDelete
