Back in May, we sold our guitars (that we no longer wanted), for 200 smackers and last week, our phones were on sale for $80 each. When we couldn't get the phones ordered online (to save $50 in activation fees), I went to the store and asked if they would waive the fees and they said, "YES". When we were done paying for everything, they tossed in two free cases.
Holy ding dong. What a deal.
In other news, we're outside, both wearing big hoodies (burr). Tim's writing and I'm playing online. Soon to enjoy another bagel. Speaking of which, here's a text I sent earlier to my friends and family.
PS: My phone came with a pen. So. Much. Fun.
I'm sorry you had to sell your guitars...I like that your phone has such good photo quality and a pen, but I wish you could get the guitars back...I'm looking for someone to teach me. I am a leftie (in more ways than one) and play a left-handed acoustic guitar. The other just did not feel right to me. Have a good week!
ReplyDeleteMy bad. We DIDN'T want the guitars anymore. They were sold as part of the decluttering process. I'll go back up and add that to the post.
DeleteHappy to see them go.
Have you looked into YouTube? They sometimes have lessons for free on there. Not sure if that's what you're looking for though.
Might work though.
Fresh from your oven to your phone to the blogosphere will have to do - but I would love to smell those. And taste them.
ReplyDeleteI'll hop in my teleporter and bring you a fresh batch.
Deleteglad you are enjoying your phone! Yes, that was a great deal!
ReplyDeleteSo much fun.
DeleteYou're a real wheeler-dealer! Man, those bagels look delicious!
ReplyDeleteMy grandmas taught me well.
DeleteGood deal on your phones. Hope you enjoy them for a good long time. :)
ReplyDeleteThis one still uses the old earbuds.
DeleteI have so much stuff to get rid of. Wish I would start selling things. Happy for your new phones!
ReplyDeleteIf you need any help decluttering, drop me an email.
DeleteSee? Sometimes all you have to do is ask.
ReplyDeleteI always ask. Learned that from my grandma. She told me, the worst they can say is no.
DeleteSmart cookie, she was.
Congrats on the deal! And those bagels look fantastic--I think I can smell them.
ReplyDeleteWe had four salt ones, but they were not available for the photo shoot.
DeleteWe got our phones really cheap online and they do everything we want them to do. Happy to hear you got a good deal on yours!
ReplyDeleteSo cool that you got great online desks.
DeleteThat was a good deal!
ReplyDeleteI am new to cell phone, fun. So I for sure did not want to pay a lot.
Deletecongratz on the super duper, ding dong deal! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks. I love super duper, ding dong deals.
DeleteRare to get any deals on phones. Most "plan rate" phone prices are the fair prices. Some new iphone doesn't cost 700 for real.
ReplyDeleteI saw some of the phones out there. Yikes on the prices.
DeleteI can go with selling something and buying something else with the cash. Done that a few times.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the trade.
DeleteThanks for stopping by, Jo.
Very cool stuff. What a great deal!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh - I love the pen.
DeleteIsn't it great to get a good deal ... and by the way your bagels look brilliant!
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Thanks.
DeleteOh my. I don't know what the world is coming to. Just reading another of your posts...and I realize it also doesn't have my wonderful signature remarks underneath!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you got a great deal on the phones. Glad you were able to make a nice $200 off the guitars! We had a couple cool days here as well, but today it's a warm 85 degrees! I have all my windows open, and until a few minutes ago had my t-shirt sleeves rolled up to my shoulders...it was a bit too hot for me! But I'm loving it! So nice to have an Indian summer!
I enjoy Indian Summer. It's like one last bonus of warm but with the pretty of Autumn.
DeleteCold in the trailer this morning but I'm soon to turn on the oven for a batch of crackers and maybe applesauce.
Thanks for all your comments. They were very cool to read.
