It's true. I wrote a Halloween kid's book, that I never did anything with. Been years since I've seen it. Not even sure if the copy I printed is the most current. But since I'm home sick anyway, I figured I'd give it a read.
Meanwhile, I feel like Halloween is passing me by. So many fun things to do and I'm stuck in bed.
This blows chunks. Here's hoping my book doesn't.
I think you should print it on your blog in instalments??ReplyDelete
Thanks for the comment, Ray. I haven't read this in years, be interesting to see what I remember and what I don't.Delete
Sorry you're sick!ReplyDelete
You should share your book.
It's okay, I am better than I would have been, when compared to being sick this time last year. It's a little progress, and I'm happy about that. But it does suck not to be able to be out and about enjoying autumn.Delete
Hope you get better soon. You should definitely think about publishing the book. Take careReplyDelete
Thanks, resting, resting. Just getting offline now as it's making me extra sleepy sitting here.Delete
Hope Tim is looking after you ;-)ReplyDelete
Tell him Thanks for the gifts, I will read them and get right back to him
He is such good guy. Glad you liked the gifts he sent you. And yes, he went to market and loaded me up on limes and lemons and brought home a bag of newspapers with lots of coupons.Delete
He's a keeper.
Are the puppies coming by and offering up sympathy and snuggles while you're under the weather?ReplyDelete
They really are the best pups, ever. So snuggly and warm and just two wonderful pups.Delete
Snuggle up with your pups and take it easy. You can tell us all about your book once you're feeling better. :)ReplyDelete
I'm so tired from sitting on the computer, that I think I might fall asleep at page one of my manuscript. That's bad, right?Delete
I did not know that. I knew you wrote, but I didn't know that you did a kid's Halloween book. You'll have to tell more about it!ReplyDelete
Hope you feel better soon!
Thanks bunches and will do.Delete
Perhaps publication (self or otherwise) beckons? Could be next Halloween's big hit!ReplyDelete
That would be cool.Delete
Sorry to hear you're not well girl, hope the book is as good as we think!ReplyDelete
I'm better sick-wise than I would have been a year ago so I should not complain. On the mend now ... just can't do a whole lot yet.Delete
That is so cool! Take a photo of it and share it with us. I'd love to see it. Hope you're feeling better soon!ReplyDelete
I was going to take a photo but my camera card got full again. Took me almost a year to fill it, and I've been deleting some of the shots.Delete
Gotta delete more. Stuff I won't use.
Hope you're feeling better soon. I'm not a big fan of Halloween so I barely notice it. I do love Thanksgiving though.ReplyDelete
Oh, we are flip flopped then because I don't generally celebrate American Thanksgiving but I LOVE Halloween. Best fun ever.Delete
I have been sick now going on three weeks. After a crap load of prescriptions I am finally starting to feel better. And I am on holidays from work! mehReplyDelete
YOU! Feel better soon!
Glad to hear that you are on the mend.Delete
Feel better Ivy and definitely give that book a read. Reading is great medicine! :)ReplyDelete
Reading really is a great way to relax.Delete
get well soonReplyDelete
Feel better soon! I bet you wrote the best Halloween book. You have a love of the holiday that I'm sure would translate into a great book. Hope you have a good read of it. :)ReplyDelete
I finished reading it today, and it was fun to read. Nice way to relax as well. Took some notes on a few inconsistencies that I found. I dunno. Might get back into it. We'll see.Delete
Thanks, I am feeling better already.
Next up, pumpkin spice rice pudding - num, num, num.
Yes! Put pumpkin spice is all the things!Delete
We could start a club :-)Delete
Ohhhh I love rice pudding. And glad you're feeling better. Writing is the way I always relax...and reading - sounds like you too.ReplyDelete
I love it as well. Usually I make a vanilla cinnamon but with the fall here, I gotta give pumpkin a try. Especially since I started making my own pumpkin spice. So much fun.Delete
Sorry to hear you're down again Whisk. Please do share the book with us as we'd love to read it.ReplyDelete
Get well soon!
Thanks, Anne - I am on the mend so I'm happy about that. Though I just broke the washer.Delete
I hope that you will recovery very quickly !ReplyDelete
Why not publishing on your blog the beginning of your book ? It's the good time for an Halloween Story and we will be able to say: "Good!" "More!" or even "Stop !" !!
Thanks. I'm recovering faster this time about than last year and that makes me super duper happy. Though I do feel like Halloween is going too fast.Delete
Is that the book you were working on when we first met? I often wondered if you finished it, and what you did with it.ReplyDelete
It is, and I've done NOTHING with it.Delete
Though I did read it and found some
things that need fixing, overall I had
fun reading it. Though still don't know
just what the heck to do with the piece.
