Did I Ever Tell You That I Wrote a Book?

It's true.  I wrote a Halloween kid's book, that I never did anything with.  Been years since I've seen it.  Not even sure if the copy I printed is the most current.  But since I'm home sick anyway, I figured I'd give it a read.

Meanwhile, I feel like Halloween is passing me by.  So many fun things to do and I'm stuck in bed.

This blows chunks.  Here's hoping my book doesn't.

    1. It's okay, I am better than I would have been, when compared to being sick this time last year. It's a little progress, and I'm happy about that. But it does suck not to be able to be out and about enjoying autumn.

    1. He is such good guy. Glad you liked the gifts he sent you. And yes, he went to market and loaded me up on limes and lemons and brought home a bag of newspapers with lots of coupons.

      He's a keeper.

  5. Are the puppies coming by and offering up sympathy and snuggles while you're under the weather?

    1. I'm so tired from sitting on the computer, that I think I might fall asleep at page one of my manuscript. That's bad, right?

  7. I did not know that. I knew you wrote, but I didn't know that you did a kid's Halloween book. You'll have to tell more about it!

    Hope you feel better soon!

    1. I was going to take a photo but my camera card got full again. Took me almost a year to fill it, and I've been deleting some of the shots.

Gotta delete more. Stuff I won't use.

  11. Hope you're feeling better soon. I'm not a big fan of Halloween so I barely notice it. I do love Thanksgiving though.

    1. I finished reading it today, and it was fun to read. Nice way to relax as well. Took some notes on a few inconsistencies that I found. I dunno. Might get back into it. We'll see.

Thanks, I am feeling better already.

Next up, pumpkin spice rice pudding - num, num, num.

    1. I love it as well. Usually I make a vanilla cinnamon but with the fall here, I gotta give pumpkin a try. Especially since I started making my own pumpkin spice. So much fun.

Why not publishing on your blog the beginning of your book ? It's the good time for an Halloween Story and we will be able to say: "Good!" "More!" or even "Stop !" !!

  18. Is that the book you were working on when we first met? I often wondered if you finished it, and what you did with it.

    1. It is, and I've done NOTHING with it.
Though I did read it and found some
things that need fixing, overall I had
fun reading it. Though still don't know
just what the heck to do with the piece.
