I finished round one of sanding the walls in Tim's new office and had zero breathing problems.
Up next, I go to the movie house once a year as a tester for my immune system/allergy to corn. Even the smell would rash me out and/or cause breathing issues.
Well guess flippin' what? Small rash, slightly pooped but ZERO breathing issues. Happy much? You betcha.
Lastly, I dropped the sorghum flour from my egg-free Cinnamon French Toast and it worked better in terms of taste and coating. Turns out, I don't need no stinkin' eggs for French Toast.
Yeah, baby. Life is good.
Glad you only had a little reaction. Did you see Guardians 2?
ReplyDeleteYeppers. Up next, Wonder Woman or maybe Alien depending on how I'm feeling health-wise by the end of the week. But for sure going back for Wonder Woman.
DeleteI am Groot:-)
ReplyDeleteBest answer.
DeleteYay to not getting sick at the theatre! I'm hoping to go see Guardians 2 tomorrow. **fingers crossed**
ReplyDeleteJust a little rash and rest after. By comparison, no biggie.
DeleteFingers crossed for you.
Baby Groot is all very well, but it's that effen raccoon I love.
ReplyDeleteHe is the funniest things in the entire film. I love the first movie when he was beating up grass. The best.
DeleteYay! Movies here you come! I am happy for you HW.
ReplyDeleteWonder Woman for sure.
DeleteThanks.
Great news. I loved Guardians Vol 2 and already have a ticket for Wonder Woman.
ReplyDeleteCool beans on your tickets.
DeleteGlad things are going well for you!
ReplyDeleteThanks. Ups and downs will come but I'm gonna keep on, keepin' on.
DeleteGlad the movies went well. Such a good sign.
ReplyDeleteHuge.
DeleteI do truly wonder how a 'Small rash, slightly pooped' looks like :) I hope it just popped not pooped :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks like slight rash and me resting but what it means is, I'm continuing to heal and will get to go another movie this year.
DeleteWonder Woman gets my vote, hope it smashes records because Marvel haters want her to fail, bastards!
DeleteI'm a marvel movie fan myself. On the whole, I think they do movies better than DC but ... I always want a super hero movie to do well regardless of who makes the movie, because I'm a super hero fan. And Wonder Woman ... BEST SUPER HERO EVER!!!!
Deleteit's the opposite with me :) I always wish superhero films to fail, unless it's WW, Superman or Green Lantern and Thor because he is just epic.
DeleteGreat news about movies and food, Ivy.
ReplyDeleteJust looked at the trailers for "Guardians 2". Gaaaaahh - do they still make movies like that? Of course trailers are usually weird, but these trailer were specially weird. I'm assuming that there was a "Guardians 1" which, sadly, I missed. And now I also know what your moving creature is.
Trailers are weird, how they cut stuff and then give too much away. So I try not to watch them because when I do, I always remember a scene from the trailer but that I haven't gotten to yet when I watch the movie. If that makes sense.
DeleteGroot is too cute.
That is awesome news. I'm really looking forward to the 2nd Guardians of the Galaxy movie.
ReplyDeleteCool beans. When you going?
DeleteOh no... lol I wait until the movie is out On Demand and then watch. I have Agoraphobia and I've only gone out once in the past couple of years...other than the walk the dog right in front of my apartment. I am getting better so maybe one day I'll go again.
DeleteOn Demand is nice, we've done that too. I'm new to your blog. Have you had Agoraphobia for your whole life?
DeleteYay! I'm glad you are feeling better.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Birdie. Setbacks will come but two movies in one year, dang, that's good stuff.
DeleteReally, really happy for you.
ReplyDeleteThanks bunches.
DeleteI'm pretty flippin' pleased that the reaction was mild.
That is great Ivy - so very pleased for you.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Thank you, Jan. To be honest, I'm over the moon. I might still be sick but I'm better than I was and that's some good stuff, right there.
DeleteI am Groot!
ReplyDeleteHahahaha. I love it.
DeleteWay cool all around but especially about your health. That's killer good stuff.
ReplyDeleteAnd you've been there from the wee beginning of it when things were real, real bad. Debra too. You girls both rock. Thank you.
DeleteGreat news, Ivy! It's nice to start taking steps forward instead of back, eh?
ReplyDeleteYes. Been taking steps forward for a long time now. Still setbacks will occur but it's been forward motions since I started this journey.
DeleteGood to know you can go to a movie theatre with getting ill. I don't eat the popcorn myself, I find it too salty and I figure I can sit through a movie without needing to eat something. It's only two hours.
ReplyDeleteI never ate or drank at the movies, either. This was from the smell and the corn on the seats.
DeleteThat said, I'm allergic to eating any kind of corn, in all forms.
I would be super sad not to eat popcorn - I love everything about it, especially the aroma..yuuum...so glad you can watch movies in the theater without dying. (: Allergies can be hell. My boys saw the G2 movie and really liked it.
ReplyDeleteThat aroma is what used to close my throat. Glad you can enjoy popping corn. Thanks for the visit, glad your boys enjoyed it.
DeleteGreat you liked the movie and it went pretty well with your allergies. Allergies must be hell!
ReplyDeleteImmune system issues are an adventure, I'll say that. Thanks for stopping by, Pam. Looking forward to your next air fryer post.
DeleteWow! sounds like life is pretty good right now!!!! took a few days off, catching up today.
ReplyDeleteIt's for sure all in perspective and I choose to see this as a win, win. Though I might not go back just right away.
DeleteInternet break? Is that what you mean? If so, those are goooood things.
Glad to know that you are feeling better. Very happy for you. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ritu.
DeleteCongratulations on the corn conquest!
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteGreat to see you!!!!
When you say "slightly pooped" do you mean tired or that you had an accident in your pants?
ReplyDeleteJust wondering?
Ha! Noooooo :-)
DeleteGreat news!
ReplyDeleteHappy dance!
Yippee!
Cheers!
Linda :o)
Thanks for dropping by :-)
DeleteYAY FRENCH TOAST!!! And breathing :o) Glad to hear it
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteIt sounds like you enjoyed it!
ReplyDeleteGuardians isn't my favorite of the Marvel gang but it was super nice being able to sit through the movie.
DeleteGlad your allergies were not as bad this time!
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteAwesome news about your allergies and the French Toast. Two wins! :)
ReplyDelete~Jess
Thanks, Jess.
