This past week we started a 10 PM bedtime. The first night I struggled with it but the second night I had to pull Tim in. I like that we're doing this together. Tonight will be our first weekend. Feels odd to have a bedtime on the weekend but I'm enjoying the calmness. Plus, I get back to baking in the early mornings.
What's not to love about that?
Friday Question: Do you have a bedtime? Does it change during the weekend?
Now for the bonus round ...
Tell us what this is and win three boogers, a dead mouse and a broken chair.
We don't have a set bedtime Friday nights (Saturday we do so we can get up for church) but unfortunately we usually crash by ten anyway.
Matt usually goes to bed at 10 ish and I usually go around 11. If I have a really good book, it might change.
Bubbly cheese sauce! Either that or it's something the doctor should really check out.ReplyDelete
My weeknight bedtime is 10:00 pm. On weekends 11:00 pm. Woo hoo, CRAZY, I know!
I could do with the lovely prizes, my guess to tomatoe soup???ReplyDelete
I usually get to bed by 11:30 pm (at the lastest), but don't have a bed time. As for the picture...bubbles? :)ReplyDelete
No, no actual bedtime, but I'm usually in bed by about 11:00. My husband is a bit of a night owl as is my daughter. Egg yolk? Tumeric? -JennReplyDelete
The image is my brain trying hard to fire.ReplyDelete
My partner and I live in different time zones. He goes to bed about four hours before I do (usually) and I get up about six or seven before he does.
Except on the night when I am on call for Lifeline. We go to bed about the same time, and I lie awake for a few hours (the stress leaves me wound up).
looks like cheese, we struggle with getting to bed, usually quite late we areReplyDelete
That picture looks like bubbles in a soup or sauce.ReplyDelete
I don't have a bedtime but I'm usually in bed between 10 and 11pm. I take medicine to make me sleepy and keep me asleep other wise I just sleep 3 or 4 hours a night and am tired all day. I have nightmares every night and have for the past 30 years. The docs haven't been able to stop them.
Scrambled eggs. If I win do I have to pay shipping and handling on the three boogers, the dead mouse and the broken chair.ReplyDelete
Bedtime? I think I may have gone beyond sleeping. Besides, I'm in every time zone but the one I actually live in.ReplyDelete
Frothy orange juice?
If I guess correctly, please send the prizes to a worthy cause other than me :)
Looks like bubbly cheese!ReplyDelete
We are now both late sleepers - which fortunately for us works well.
All the best Jan
My sleep pattern is crazy. No set bedtime. Five hours sleep is good for me.ReplyDelete
big grin for the prize.ReplyDelete
a frothy mango and orange smoothie?
No, wait, I don't really WANT those prizes, so my guess is ... blueberry pie ...
Looks cheesy. Or some smoothie mix. I used to go to be very early and it got later and later once we moved here. Now I'm trying to fix that and get back on track. Good for you for doing this!ReplyDelete
Scrambled eggs, ready to cook! Please don't send me my prizes...and yes, I follow a bedtime, but Hubby hangs on to the TV until he's comatose...ReplyDelete
I try to be in bed no later than 11.
That looks like beaten eggs to me, when you take out the whisk and the air bubbles rise and pop on the surface.ReplyDelete
My bedtime is usually about 10pm too. Sometimes 9.30pm
Or pumpkin soup.ReplyDelete
My cats like to give away dead mice, birds and moles.ReplyDelete
I always go to bed between 23.30 and 24.00 because I always get up at 7AM!
I get to bed about midnight most nights then I'm up at about 6.30am. Unless I dj and of course I go to bed about 3.00am.ReplyDelete
It's bubbles. ;)
We are night people but I envy those who can get to bed early AND sleep! Is that your veggie cheese?ReplyDelete
Boy, am I exhausted today...my bed time was totally disrupted by a leaky cat, and a lot of unexpected dirty laundry and late hours! My bed time went out the door with menopause...is that some form of veggie cheese sauce?ReplyDelete
Hi Ivy, I don't have a bedtime but I'm embarassed to say I go to bed pretty early.....maybe 8 or 9 depends. Also are you scrambling eggs?ReplyDelete
Hey Gang! The answer was cheese made from plants. Boogers, mice and broken chairs to ship first time Monday monring. Thanks for playing and boogie boogie.ReplyDelete
why does it look liquid? Is it melted?Delete
It starts off as a sauce in a blender and then thickens once in the skillet. But really good just from the blender too as a NOTcho Cheese Sauce.Delete
I knew the answer! teeheeReplyDelete
No bedtime for me. I maybe should doing doing a bedtime, I am up too late and up too early. I would say that the picture is melted cheese. Am I right? Sorry, but I will skip the prizes if I am.ReplyDelete
I wouldn't have won the contest (and would have passed on those great prizes, lol). I thought it was a cracked egg. :)ReplyDelete
My youngest has an 8:40 bedtime during the school year and a 9:40 one during the weekends and summer (the '40' derived from a ten minute bargaining session where he felt he was far too old to have 8:30 as his bed time, ha!). :)
Love the fun picture! I thought it was the start of an omelet. :)ReplyDelete
I don't have a set bedtime- but during the week I aim to be in bed between 10-11 and on the weekends between 11-12. I think 10 sounds like a nice bedtime. Good luck!
