I LOVE MY NEW JOB

Today is my fourth week of being home.  And you know what?  I  love it.  Started the week with 274 FREE dollars from various stores, points, and promotions.

That's MORE than I made in a week of prep.

My goal: To have Wilma's zero interest loan paid off in three months instead of six.  I like the challenge of that.  It's fun.

Yesterday I had to use up just under 2 dollars in point, so got free dish gloves.  My old ones have a hole so this is a perfect way to start the work week.  New yellow gloves.  For free.  Does it get any better than that?  I don't think so.

    2. I'd love green ones since my bathroom is that colour, but can't find them. Just the blue or yellow ones.

    3. Green is good. That was my first choice but they weren't free. So I went with yellows.

  7. Glad you're happy! Live long and prosper! I'm not really sure why I'm feeling Star Trek-ish today -- it just seemed like the right thing to say.

    1. I spoke like Captain Kirk yesterday when having lunch with Tim. Sometimes, Star Trek talk is just necessary.

    1. Drank some homemade pom juice for my morning starter. It's a good drink. But once I'm done in the kitchen this afternoon, it'll be full rest for the remainder of the night.

    1. How do you mean, big? Do your papers or website carry coupons?

  16. Wow, I wish we had a coupon system like that where I lived! I tried doing the online thing but they expire so quickly. You are amazing!

    1. Short expiry dates do suck monkey balls. But thankfully, the stores have match up sales with those coupons, so I try to get them used up quickly.
