Much appreciated.
Also I made stuffing bread. I added the seasoning right into my dough, then dried the pieces. I'm still working out the formula. Next time I'll use homemade chicken (or veg), stock instead of water, when making the dough. Just to see.
Here's where I'm at so far. Click to enlarge.
AND dig Tim's latest issue of The Manor. He worked all ding dong weekend, then left early this morning to ship them. The Manor makes him happy. I'm super duper proud of him.
All in all, a great snowy weekend. We stayed in the ENTIRE time, both working on our projects. But now it's Monday and Wilma and I got work to do. But first, check out these FREEBIES I snagged from BK. ZERO out of pocket, Baby.

Liked these so much, went back next day for 4 FREE more. |
What is stuffing bread, Ivy? And what is TUMS? Something edible?
ReplyDeleteHowdy Dezzy -- I baked homemade bread to dry out and use later to make stuffing. BUT, instead of adding the seasoning later, I just baked the yummy goodness, right into my dough.
DeleteMy gosh, it's so yummy. I keep stealing a little piece here and there. If I'm not careful, there won't be any left for stuffing.
Tums are for an upset belly/heartburn.
it's delightful that you have flavoured medicines for belly, they look like candy :( We have them not ;(
DeleteThe cherry ones taste like candy, to me.
DeleteCongrats on the milestone, and the stuffing bread is making me HUNGRY.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteYes, it's so easy to make. Now for the final test, re-dehydration from dried to real stuffing.
Congrats to both you and Tim.....I love bread to my shame!
ReplyDeleteTim does as well. Can't keep the stuff in the house.
DeleteCongratulations to both!
ReplyDeleteThanks :-)
DeleteCongrats on the milestone.
ReplyDeleteAlso can confirm that The Manor is great. I bought the PDF version and read it straight through as soon as I had downloaded it. Packed with good stuff and I will be making good use out of it somewhere down the line
Ian
Thank you for the support, Ian.
DeleteMuch appreciated.
604 posts! Wow. Holy crap on a kale crisp, that's a lot of blogging. Congrats! :)
ReplyDelete(Yeah, I just finished reading Dylan's Digital Orc post, so I have kale crisps on the brain).
Perfect timing. Since you guys aren't gaming, Tim is taking me to Wegmans tonight (if no storm), and baby organic kale was on my list. So I'll be making Dylan's kale chips as well. Never made them before, only heard stories of how yummy they are.
DeleteJust left a message on your blog. I am working on a vegan apple crumb topping and a vegan stuffing. I have some ideas on what to try without needing some of those crappy vegan butters on the market. Or, I think they are crappy. Even though I do confess to eating one brand, back in my VegHead days.
Congratulations all around! Those stay-at-home-completely weekends are nice sometimes, especially when the weather is really sucky! That stuffing bread looks really yummy!
ReplyDeleteWe really like being home. And this past weekend was perfect. Some great pictures you have on your blog. Those faces are great.
Delete604! Awesome! Ooh, and free Wheat Chex! That's my breakfast of choice. Good haul!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, it's so crispy. Was a little dry the first time I tried it but I tell ya what? I like how it holds up in almond milk. Also, I want to make a healthier Chex mix with my own bagel chips.
Delete604 posts is the best! Love celebrating blog milestones!
ReplyDeleteThat stuffing bread looks soooooo good!
Congrats on your giant score! And congrats to Tim as well! Lots of celebrating today! :)
Made the stuffing tonight. Was really good. For a first time out, I was impressed. Not so impressed though with the chicken and rice I made tonight. Horrible.
DeleteI've missed seeing pictures of your food. Sounds like it will be yummy.
ReplyDeleteThanks for saying that because I miss taking them. My good photography light died, and I haven't replaced it yet. Miss that little light. Hope to find a good deal on replacing it soon.
DeleteQuite a milestone for you!
ReplyDeleteIt's not too bad.
DeleteWow - amazing job!!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun trip. Thanks again for today's Suave shampoo and then the other post you did on the deodorants. Depending on the snow, I'm shooting for Tops early tomorrow morning.
DeleteGreat cover to The Manor!
ReplyDeleteArtist, Jay Penn did that cover. One of Tim's favorites. Really looks nice. Thanks for stopping by. I was just at your place looking at your snow flake nails. Super cute.
DeleteWow, 604 posts, that's awesome!! So are your freebies! Hey wait....so are YOU!
ReplyDeleteAnytime you're ready for a proper BigK trip, you just let me know and we'll hit the store together.
DeleteSeriously good deals.
Congratulations on 604 posts. I'm glad you went the extra 4 over so we'd know you were serious about keeping on going! ;)
ReplyDeleteYou know, had to go that extra four.
DeleteWell don't! Major blogging milestone. :) And I LIVE for stuffing. What a cool stash too, totally amazing to me.
ReplyDeleteIt's very easy to make and even better, stores great. No way I'd ever get any bag of stuffing out, again. It's that good.
DeleteCongrats on 604
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteFirst of all, hi!
ReplyDeleteSecond of all, congratulations on all those posts!
Third, I think I could eat stuffing all the time, every day, a little with every meal. And that stuffing bread looks gorgeous!
It's super easy to make and now we can have it anytime Tim wants. He's a big stuffing guy.
Delete604 is no small feat. Congratulations and I'm glad you didn't pack it in and kept on going here. It's always a happy place to visit!!
