When I say free, I mean NO GREEN left my little hands. PLUS, for each group of three I purchased, Viva gave me $4 off my next transaction, and instantly removed $3. Using coupons and points brought my balance to zero oop.
And guess what else? Tonight we're having stuffed shells. Made the homemade sauce over the weekend, bought the cheese yesterday and tonight, we eat like people who no longer pay for paper towels, razors or crapper paper.
Because that folks, is how we roll.
How I use to shop. |
How I shop, now. |
I don't know if it is just where I live but anytime I even get coupons they are usually expired.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand?
DeleteI think what birdie means is that when the coupons and special offers arrive in the mail, they've already expired. it happens fairly frequently here too.
DeleteSo where you live, the stores don't run weekly or monthly sales that match up with coupons?
DeleteOh my goodness. That makes me sad.
Whoa! You are ready for the apocalypse.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your dinner tonight!
Zombie apocalypse. Those guys are messy.
DeleteDang! Are you really that messy? Haha! :)
ReplyDeleteYour stuffed shells sound yummy. Going to post a picture of them, too?
Sure will. Just shot some pictures of the red and green peppers I made this morning. Haven't looked at them yet. Having them now for lunch.
DeleteWow! Those are a lot of paper towels! How long is it going to take for you to go through them?
ReplyDeleteI dunno, never used Viva before today. They are a tighter roll and more fabric like. So far this morning, I'm still using the same one in my bucket (prep bucket for wipe downs).
DeleteI am loving these towels.
You go, girl!
ReplyDeleteI love stuffed shells!
Me too. So yummy.
DeleteDang, you can clean up some serious messes for years to come. And, those stuffed shells sound divine!
ReplyDeleteDo you coupon?
DeleteCan I come poop at your house? I want my butt to know the feel of free crapper paper.
ReplyDeleteYou know ... no one has ever asked me that before. That's a little funny.
DeleteCan someone toss me a roll of TP? You're amazing!
ReplyDeleteIt's the stores having amazing deals.
DeleteDo you coupon? I forgot if I asked you before.
I don't. My daughter does a little. I really need to show her your blog. :)
DeleteMy last blogroll is loaded with coupon bloggers. Some great ideas on how to save MORE by spending LESS.
DeleteI love how you roll!! I think you have discovered the secret - don't spend money on stuff that just ends up in the garbage. That is so smart!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks. My stockpile doesn't look like those on TV, but it is filled with useful items. And that makes me feel good, especially now that I have to be home healing for awhile.
DeleteLOVED your cake.
Good for you! And thanks. :)
DeleteWow. That would last me like six months. Thanks for the Aldi coupon. I'm going to use it later this week.
ReplyDeleteSure thing. This is the first time I've seen an Aldi coupon, so I'm going to ask the manager about it before I start my shopping, as I rarely spend that much there, in one shopping trip.
DeleteWay to go, Whisk! (But I'm sad Spooky Whisk season is over. You need a Turkey Whisk theme!)
ReplyDeleteI'll be back with my Christmas hat.
Deletethere;s simply never enough of toilet paper in the house.... I like mine camomile and peach scented :)
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like tea. I have peach and ginger tea, never tried a camomile peach blend though.
Deletemy whole bathroom smells like camomile when I take out that scented toilet paper :)
DeleteI thought you were joking. I do enjoy camomile though, and peach. Love a good peach candle or wax tart.
DeleteThe world can end right now and you will be okay. As long as there's toilet paper in the house, all is well :)
ReplyDeleteHow did those shells turn out? Bet they were mmm...mmm... good.
I do have toilet paper as well. Getting more this week, hopefully, for free if there's anymore in stock.
DeleteThe filling I made and the homemade sauce were very good. The shells were white flour and we hardly ever eat white but I couldn't find wheaten ones. Going to see if Wegmans carries brown shells. Be cool if I could make my own homemade shells.
Thanks for asking.
Way to go on the Viva!!! I recently purchased my first package and even at that I think I paid $4 - $5 for it. Love it though - such nice paper towels!!! I'd die to get in on this deal (well not literally, ha ha). What's the breakdown? I don't have a Kmart too close to me but for a deal like this I think I need to make the drive.
ReplyDeleteI was just at your page the same time you were here. That's funny. The $4 off the next order for the Vivas are over now, I heard but don't know for sure.
DeleteRight now they have a deal of buying gift cards, which is spend $25 on a Kmart card and get a $5 gift card, plus $2 in points. Allowed two times, per person. OR, buy a Visa Gift Card for $50 and get a $10 gift card, plus $2 in points. That's still going on until Saturday, I believe.
Then the Cottonelle deal is: Buy 3 @3.99 and get $3 instantly off total, plus get $3 cat, per transaction. AND, if you have 3 $1/1 coupons those could double (when spending $25). Or not have them double and use points to pay the rest.
I hope this makes sense. I'm a little sleepy now. Please let me know if it doesn't make sense.
The Viva towels. I had no idea until this sale, just how good the quality was. Really good product and smart to give it to me for free, because now I'll go back and buy it (on sale).
PS: The Viva deal without the Cat is still available. MB3/get $3 instant off total. Sale price: $3.98 or $3.99 (I forget which now). And then use coupons to double or not, pay with points to get for free, or cash to get a good deal.
DeleteAnd here I never seem to see coupons coming....
ReplyDeleteHow do you mean?
DeleteIf they're even on this side of the border, I never see them. We do have flyers for specials, but that's about it.
ReplyDeleteOhhh, boy. I'm sorry to hear that.
Deletewow with the original boxes too
ReplyDeleteFour per box, but I only purchased three per transaction. It was easier to carry them in boxes, but now we've condensed them down to two boxes.
DeleteWow that's a lot of rolling ;D
ReplyDeleteDo you coupon, Kim?
DeleteAwesome, awesome way to ahem, Roll :D
ReplyDeleteCoupons are good. Love them.
DeleteWow, it is really amazing how much money you must be saving. I can only imagine.
ReplyDeleteEmail me anytime you want to know more details. But yeah, it's good. I love it. I love that it's a puzzle, and that I get to play.
DeleteIt literally is how you roll. What a fabulous deal, Whisk and one you deserve! Go You!!
