I'M READY TO DO THE WORK

Really, really good start to the week. And, dig this, the air fryer oven lid arrived and I made a few videos with it. Haven't looked at the footage yet. Mornings are the best time for my brain to edit and I like going to bed knowing where I left off the day before. Next session, edits! Mainly though, I had fun. I never thought I'd go back to video.

Happy to be wrong.

Although I haven't actually published anything yet or written out a proper recipe for others to read. For myself, I have piles and piles and I mean PILES of bake formulas that I've written over the years. Time to turn those bad boys into something good. I'm ready to do the work.

Pretty cool.

That's about all. I told myself that I wouldn't work more than 12 hours today and that also means no more screen time (even for fun). Plus, Smoochie Face has game with the Goobers tonight and I'm headed offline for a cheesy chickflick. I don't know much about it, just that the main guy from Twisters is in it.

Be around tomorrow to catch up on your blogs. Right now it's time for me to unplug, get in my jammies and slooooooooow down.

Chat soon.

Huggs and bugs, Me.

    1. Hey Alex. That's what I'm shooting for. Though I've said that before and failed. This time I'm doing video with photography with book. Though I've been down these roads before ... this time though does feel different.

  5. I just LOVE your Happy Stick People... they always make me feel HAPPY and I leave with a smile... 12 hours? yikes. I do know that videos and cooking and plannning and all that you did makes the clock just fly. I am always shocked, when I look at the clock and find I have been on the computer for 2 hours. it did not work that way when I was in the work force and worked 12 hour days... but now my 5 devices I call Time Thief... waiting to see what you are up to with your videos.

    1. Thanks. The cartoons are me. It's the Little Whisk as one of my friends calls them. But they're me and whatever I'm doing I draw. Yes, time goes sooooo fast. This is true. Whoosh! There's a lot to get done in a day and it really goes quick. Too quick!

Hope you have a groovy day!

    1. So much thanks. I'm doing the work. It's not enough to have piles of notebooks, journals, e-notes and hand-scratched pages. Gotta get this stuff out there. Hoping you have a yummy day!

  16. Oh, I love a good chick flick! It's a cold rainy evening, and I'll likely curl up to a good chick flick tonight. I wish I could say I was a morning person, but I do my best work later in the afternoons/evenings. So excited for your videos and recipes!

    1. I can understand that. I used to be a night owl and do my best work then. Hubby still does great work at night now. Thank you for your excitement. Happy to have that. Cheers and boogie boogie. PS: I had garbanzo beans in my breakfast yesterday. Delightful.

  20. I love your new banner. 12 hours, that's discipline and dedication. I go to bed thinking about the work I have done on my dolls house - sometimes pleased and planning the next project, sometimes not so plleased and planning how to re-do it!
