I'm in the mood to kick some butt today. How about you? As I type, onions are cooking in the cast iron, soon to pop in mushrooms. Stuff it all in a homemade wrap, and call me a happy camper. After that, I'm gonna crank the music and prep for our 3-day weekend. Three earwigs and a tooth, if you know who I'm gonna listen to.
In other news ....
Congrats on planning to do an
ReplyDeleteIvy-type-marathon. Are you allowed to have stops for water and so on? (especially so-on).
Will stop to pee but no breaks. If I need a break, I can walk. Marathons are done straight through. That's the challenge.
DeleteOkay, I never thought about the need to pee on such a long run.
DeleteH.R.: Loved your idea about the Post-it. Tim was telling me about the runners that poop themselves just to make time. Ohh nooo. That cannot be fun to run in poop or pee.
DeleteGood luck on the full marathon! And jeez, a monkey's bung-hole is bad enough, but a monkey's HAIRY bung-hole? Yikes!
ReplyDelete"onions are cooking in the cast iron, soon to pop in mushrooms" and I bet they are looking and smelling good!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your three day weekend, and all good things for your upcoming marathon
Go for it Ivy!
All the best Jan
Hmmm... If you're getting ready for a marathon, maybe you're listening to the Theme from Rocky?? :)
ReplyDeleteGood for you, HW. What a great goal! You are a determined person!
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteGood luck in the Marathon!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the marathon. So you run as well as cook?
ReplyDeleteWow, maybe doing a half marathon will do the trick and help me get rid of my stuff too!
ReplyDeletegood for you and the food sounds delish!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to reading about your running adventures.
ReplyDeleteDo you mean literally "at home"? How does that work? I need some exercise motivation!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, good luck and let us know how it goes!
Hi Jenny. We have a jogger's treadmill. His name is Monster.
DeleteI love jogging. What do you enjoy?
Ohhhhh ... it's making sense now :)
DeleteI enjoy walking, thanks for asking!
The best to you amazing woman!
ReplyDeleteAhhh, messed up on my first comment to you. I was going to say that yours is an admirable goal and good for you. However, I will never say that "I love jogging". -Jenn
ReplyDeleteA monkey's hairy bung hole...bahahaha 😂😂😂
ReplyDeleteWell, good for you, Wonder Woman! That is definitely something to strive for. And be proud doing.
My guess is you were listening to Bryan Adams. Amiright?
Ding, ding, ding. Three earwigs and a tooth, for you. Bryan Adams it was.
DeleteMartha's moving and hasn't room for all three earwigs :)
DeleteBAHAHAHAHA! Jenny...oh that is funny :) Would you like one of the earwigs? I really don't have room for all three :)
DeleteYou're too kind! But we already have a few too many in our garden ... maybe your bug-smashing lady could take care of them for you?
DeleteAnd apologies, Ivy, for hijacking your comments!
DeleteJenny: No problems here, Jenny. It's great fun to read these comments.
DeleteMartha: I can split them, 1.5 earwigs each but it might get messy.
Eeek...yes, it'll get messy. I'll take one earwig and leave the rest for some other folks. My mama...she taught me to share :)
DeleteHahahaha. Great answer.
DeleteHee hee!
DeleteYou go girl!
ReplyDeletehahahahaha your answer to jennie .... I love jogging
ReplyDeleteWhat do you enjoy ?
hahahahahahahahahah mine is being able to get up in the morning.
cheers, parsnip
I like your answer better than mine, parsnip! It probably would be more honest if I'd said the same thing!
DeleteIvy, you come up with the catchiest titles!
ReplyDeleteYou can have a number on your shirt. I recommend a post-it! LOL
ReplyDeleteHappy running, Ivy! You're always inspiring.
ReplyDeleteI am excited on your behalf! Have fun!
ReplyDeleteI am so excited for you. Go for it! You're amazing.
ReplyDeleteWow some exciting stuff. Hope you had a great 3 day weekend!!

DeleteSorry, your food sounds so heavenly to me, I'm having palpitations. Can't give an honest opinion until I can try one. Because of oral surgery, I haven't eaten a meal since 7/16/17, but I promise, my taste buds and I will be back.
Delete2/21/2017
Sorry you haven't been able to eat a proper meal. Here's to both getting healed up, and to your tastebuds coming back, soon.
DeleteI'll just have to live vicariously via your food until this thing heals.
DeleteGood for you, Ivy! I'm so happy and excited for you. You don't need no stinkin' t-shirts. You'll have the happiness in your heart. :)
ReplyDeleteDear Ivy hope you are doing OK !! hugs!!
