Does Your Man Garbage Pick?

Because mine does and look what he brought home last night.  More inserts.  That brings me to 54.  Totally free.

That is, if you don't mind garbage pickin'.

  1. Whoa! Sorry, I don't do garbage. I'd send it to you if I did though.

  2. Not so sure I'd garbage-pick coupons, either. But then I'm no where close to couponing as you are - Oh, Queen of Coupons, you!

    1. Not having to buy the papers was a HUGE savings. Anywhere from $1.25 to $2.50 per paper, depending. And now, upwards of $3.50 for my favorite paper. Yikes.

But I understand searching the paper bins isn't for everyone. I'm trying to remember what I thought about garbage pickin' before I started couponing.

      Cannot remember though.

    1. Find room for it. Oh my gosh, that's good stuff. That's how my grandparents were. Always bringing stuff home.

  6. eh, he wouldn't garbage pick in my town for sure. We don't have garbage disposal thingies in our dishwashers and sinks which means that we throw leftovers, peels, stinky things and everything dirty into garbage bin :)

    1. No paper bins, then? That's where Tim got these. Though ever now and then someone tosses in a pop. Generally it's just papers. And FREE inserts.

      Woohoo.

    2. Just read your other comment. I wasn't sure if you were zero coupons, or very little. Zero is a bummer.

    1. Hubby got me more inserts. Took them from the paper bins. Garbage picked. Lots of savings. Better than jewelry.

  10. Awww...looks like he's a keeper! :)

My man doesn't do that, but he does other things just because it makes me happy. That's what it's all about, isn't it?

    1. That is what it's all about. Love being married. In fact, I'm just home from work now, Tim's on is way, and I can't wait to sit down and have a nice meal at the table.

      Good livin'.

    1. One time I tossed a hundred dollar bill in our dumpster here. We had to go looking for it. Thankfully, it was on the top. Or, top-ish.

  14. I don't have a man so no garbage picking - though here in Maine people do leave "free" stuff on the side of the road for anyone to take.
