I'm betting that no one reallly knows how do draw choc chips or walnuts in a loaf, pencil dots seem to be an excellent method in my mind. They sound delicious.
Hey Kathy. What kinda peanut butter cookie do you like best, crunchy or soft? I'm working on peanut butter cookies for hubby and happy to give you the formula when I'm done.
Hey Kathy! Yes, I wrote the formula (my own recipe), and then split it between two small bakers. What's nice is they have lids too. And it's just enough of a bake for each person to enjoy for about two days. Maybeeeee three.
I always put either walnuts or pecans in my banana bread -- pecans are my favourite of the two, though. I'm not fussy about chocolate chips in banana bread. It just seems wrong to me, somehow. For me, chocolate chips are very much just a cookie thing.
HiYa, Judee! Some chocolate chips got into mine because I forgot to leave them all out. Gotta give a shout out to you. Made a version of your purple cabbage stuff. SOOO GOOD. More on that later. But thanks!
Oh boy, I love both of those loaves ... Yumm and it doesn't make one bit of difference to me if you can't draw chips and nuts. They are still yummy. Sue
The combo works very, very well. Some chocolate got into mine and other times I just make a full on combo. Soooo good. Though not for me for breakfast. I don't fancy chocolate in the mornings. Later in the day though, sign me up.
Hi Jan thanks! And most all my bakes are lower in sugar in fact, I don't use sugar in almost all my bakes. I use maple. Still a form of sugar. Anyway, lower sugar is yum!
Yes, more fun than chores! I'll share Tims!
ReplyDeletelol. I just didn't want to finish the chores so I baked! Sending you part of Tim's in 3.. 2.. 1...
DeleteYummy!
ReplyDeleteHey Christine. Spelt from Canada! One of the best flours in the history of evHar!

ReplyDeleteHey Kathy. What kinda peanut butter cookie do you like best, crunchy or soft? I'm working on peanut butter cookies for hubby and happy to give you the formula when I'm done.
DeleteNice! One basic recipe divided into two portions, each with different add-ins.

DeleteBoth versions sound good, but I would go with Tim’s as chocolate in any form of baking is good with me.
ReplyDeleteHe really, really liked his. Personal size. Good for 1-3 servings.

ReplyDeleteHey Debra! I LOOOOOVE pecans too. Made a pumpkin muffin with crushed pecans last week.
DeleteSo cute! I don't know how to draw ANYTHING! I know you are such a good baker!
ReplyDeleteHey Ginny! Much thanks!
DeleteBoth sounds good and tasty. Housework will always wait, but hunger won't.
ReplyDeleteThat darn housework keeps showing back up. lol.
DeleteCool post! Have a nice week.
ReplyDeleteThanks, you too!
DeleteBoth of them sound yummy. I would say your dots work for walnuts and chocolate chips.
ReplyDeletelol on the dots, much thanks, Ann.
DeleteOh that is so cool, I love your creativity! I agree, dots work for walnuts and choc. chips!
ReplyDeleteHey Val. Much, much thanks and happy adventuring to you!
DeleteSuper cute! It's funny. You and I have the same taste for bread and are husbands like the chocolate. So...we'll have a slice of each!
ReplyDeleteThat's funny! I just can't do chocolate in the mornings but later in the day, I'm more likely to enjoy it. But come breakfast, noooo chocolate for me.
DeleteYour drawings are adorable and so much fun!! As far as the banana breads, I would like banana walnuts and chocolate chips in mine. Lol

ReplyDeleteSue
Hey Sue. Howdy hello and thanks for stopping by.
DeleteWhen in doubt, bake! I like both versions. I like adding in fruit and nuts to banana bread.
ReplyDeleteLOVE me some fruit in bakes!
DeleteLOL! I tend to throw both into both loaves since only mu husband and son eat banana bread and both enjoy nuts & chocolate chips.
ReplyDeleteThe combo works very, very well. Some chocolate got into mine and other times I just make a full on combo. Soooo good. Though not for me for breakfast. I don't fancy chocolate in the mornings. Later in the day though, sign me up.
DeleteSounds wonderful, Ivy. I love your sketches.

DeleteBoth of those options sound good - I'm a little partial to the chocolate chips, tho.
ReplyDeleteHey Gina! I think chocolate chips might be winning.
DeleteBoth options sounds really tasty, but I think I'm also partial to chocolate chips. :) Happy new week.
ReplyDeleteHey Erika! Happy New Week! My gosh it's already going whoosh past.
DeleteChilly Autumn days are the best time to bake. Warms the kitchen and fills the house with good smells.
ReplyDeleteThe house does smell goooooooood during an after a bake!
DeleteYum!!! I love the sound of banana chocolate chip bread!! I'm basically a fan of anything chocolate.
ReplyDeleteSuch a good combo. Thanks Julia!
