This year I'm doing InkTober and for 31 days I'll draw a new cartoon. At some point I'd like to have my art on little notebooks and mugs.
So fun!
In other news, way back when the land was flat we used to do Friday Question here on the blog. I'm bringing it back in October.
Friday Question: On the breakfast table are banana nut muffins and chocolate chip cookies. Both fresh from the oven.
Which do you go for? Muffins or cookies/biscuits?
And that my Boogerbutts is all that's fit to print. Here are two of my InkTobers. More to come.
Until next post ....

Cute!
ReplyDeleteLove the question idea. Now, usually for breakfast, I would eat a muffin. However, your muffins have nuts in them and I really don't like nuts. I guess that gives me an excuse to eat a cookie for breakfast!
lol. I should have left out the nuts. I forget not everyone likes them. That's my bad. Love the jump to the cookie though. Wishing you a fun weekend, Mari!
DeleteSuper cute, Ivy. I'm going for the muffins :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jeanna! Do you have a fave muffin of all time?
DeleteSo awesome that you're doing Inktober! I've never had the nerve to try it -- such a big commitment to do the art prompts every day for 31 days! I'll have a banana nut muffin please!
ReplyDeleteHey Debra. Cannot recommend doing this enough. It's so fun. Though I'm doing the prompt-free way. I actually didn't know about the prompts until later and really, I just wanna do my own thing. Hey, it's not too late. I promise it's fun!
DeleteI love the question idea. I feel like I should eat the muffin since it is breakfast but the cookie wins!! I want the cookie.
ReplyDeleteThanks Judee! Vegan cookies too!
DeleteThe cookies always!!
ReplyDeleteCookies are winning ...
DeleteLove the drawings as I call them.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I love do draw!
DeleteDefinitely the cookies as I don't eat anything with banana in it.
ReplyDeleteCookies by default then. Or we can remove the nanners and make a muffin of your picking.
DeleteFor breakfast, the muffins first, cookies second, but since they have nuts in them I might pass...
ReplyDeleteHey Alex. We can remove the nuts. I forget not everyone likes nuts.
Deletecute cartoons. Since it's breakfast I'm probably going to grab the muffin first. Chances are after I finish it I'm gonna go back and get a cookie though.
ReplyDeletelolol on going back for the cookies.
DeleteWhat fun cartoons! I am going for the muffin! Thank you very much! lol. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteAnytime! Thanks for playing.
DeleteCute! Probably muffin for breakfast. Then cookie for morning snack.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds good. Get the best of both!
DeleteI have to choose?? No No, I'll have a muffin AND a cookie please.
ReplyDeletelolololololol, For you, two cookies.
DeleteCookies!
ReplyDeleteStrong in the lead I think. I'll have to count at the end to be sure.
DeleteWhatever the question: the answer is always cookies.
ReplyDeletelolololol THIS is an excellent idea for a shirt.
DeleteThese are super cute and really make me smile. Cookie, please!
ReplyDeleteCookies on the way!
DeleteI'm happy you are back, Ivy. Your cartoons make me smile. I could have either muffins or cookies, but probably would choose the muffin.
ReplyDeleteMuch thanks, Sandra It's really nice to be posting again and more often. I forget when I'm away sometimes how much I miss it. And how much I enjoy when I'm here. If that makes sense.
DeleteIf I couldn't have both, I would have to take the chocolate chip cookie. They are SO good when still warm from the oven.
ReplyDeleteThat's true, Lori. They really are. Yum.
DeleteHmmm, hard choice but I think if the muffin is nice and warm from the oven I would slather some butter on it and chow down. Maybe I would have the cookie for a "snack".
ReplyDeleteLove your cartoons for Inktober ... love that name.
Sue
Thanks, Sue. There's CrockTober, VlogTober, InkTober, MapTober. Wonder what other Tobers there are? Fun stuff for sure. Thanks for stopping in.
DeleteI would do both... with a cup of coffee please.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I know I can only choose one.
It will be the muffin, with butter and a cup of coffee please.
xo
Now lets Boogie ~ Boogie ;-)
Both for you it is then. Boogie boogie and happy new week!
DeleteDear Ivy, I absolutely love your sketches, dear friend! Hmmm....I am not a big fan of either cookies or muffins. Not at all sure! Let's choose oatmeal cookies! Those I really like. Chocolate chip, too. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Linda. Be happy to whip you up oatmeal!
DeleteI love your art, so I'd take neither treat and go for your mug instead, ha.
ReplyDeleteOMG. That is soooo nice of you to say. Thank you!
DeleteI love your cute figures, they always make me smile, so enjoyable! I fixed a beef stew and had a savory biscuit with it. Hanging head in shame, I cheated as though the stew was homemade, the biscuits came out of a can :0
ReplyDeleteHey, that's good too. No shame in that game. Not all all. In fact, I've been playing with Dolly Parton cookies because it was recently Dolly Parton Day AND these were on sale.
DeleteCookies for me all day long!
ReplyDeleteYou got it. Cookies on the way!
DeleteDefinitely the muffins....with lots of black coffee.
ReplyDeleteNice cartoons.
Muffins on the way ... black coffee too!
DeleteYour cartoons make me happy. Cookie, please...
ReplyDeleteThat's very cool. Thank you for writing that. Cookies on the way ...
DeleteMuffins for me as well, Ivy, even with the nuts included. My favorite muffins are pumpkin or blueberry should you be in another muffin baking mode. The cartoons are spot on for October and very cute too.
ReplyDeleteMade some pumpkin ones this week. LOVE blueberry. I love blueberry lemon.
DeleteCool post!
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteI always enjoy an egg of some sort for breakfast but out of the two choices you give I would go for Muffins!
ReplyDeleteI like your cartoons.
Have a great weekend.
All the best Jan
Those protein hits in the morning are good. I get that. Thanks, Jan.
DeleteThese are cute. Banana nut sounds amazing :-D
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI am late to this party...but I will take a muffin, please. Butter on the side. Maybe a cup of coffee with some creamer. If I'm being honest, I'll prob snag a cookie, too. They used to make an amazing Butter Rum muffin at HEB long ago. So good!
ReplyDeleteHey Gina! You got it. Boy, I wish we had a HEB. I had their salsa once and I think a girl brought it to work years ago. Not sure where she got it. Was soooo gooooood.
DeleteMy vote goes to the cookies, although I would be happy with either as they both sound delicious.
ReplyDeleteThanks for playing. This was fun to read what each person picked.
DeleteLOVE LOVE LOVE your blog! And I am a muffin lady all the way! Cranberry Orange are my favorite!
ReplyDeleteOMG Billie Jo! We love cranberry orange too. It's sooooo good. Waiting for cranberries to pop up at Aldi and I can get to dehydrating them for winter bakes.
DeleteHi! Oh, this is a tough question, as I love both! I'd probably say a muffin, though, slathered with salty butter. YUM!! Have a great week ahead, Ivy!
ReplyDeleteHey Julia! Wishing you a wonderful week ahead. This was fun to read what each person picked.
DeleteWhat a funny little ghost for your Header today. I love chocolate chip cookies, but banana nut muffins sound perfect for autumn. Have a happy October week ahead. : )
ReplyDeleteThanks. She's from Dollar Tree. Came with a few buddies too. Wishing you a groovy October week! Thanks for stopping in and boogie boogie.
