This year I'm doing InkTober and for 31 days I'll draw a new cartoon. At some point I'd like to have my art on little notebooks and mugs.
So fun!
In other news, way back when the land was flat we used to do Friday Question here on the blog. I'm bringing it back in October.
Friday Question: On the breakfast table are banana nut muffins and chocolate chip cookies. Both fresh from the oven.
Which do you go for? Muffins or cookies/biscuits?
And that my Boogerbutts is all that's fit to print. Here are two of my InkTobers. More to come.
Until next post ....

Cute!
ReplyDeleteLove the question idea. Now, usually for breakfast, I would eat a muffin. However, your muffins have nuts in them and I really don't like nuts. I guess that gives me an excuse to eat a cookie for breakfast!
lol. I should have left out the nuts. I forget not everyone likes them. That's my bad. Love the jump to the cookie though. Wishing you a fun weekend, Mari!
DeleteSuper cute, Ivy. I'm going for the muffins :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jeanna! Do you have a fave muffin of all time?
DeleteSo awesome that you're doing Inktober! I've never had the nerve to try it -- such a big commitment to do the art prompts every day for 31 days! I'll have a banana nut muffin please!
ReplyDeleteHey Debra. Cannot recommend doing this enough. It's so fun. Though I'm doing the prompt-free way. I actually didn't know about the prompts until later and really, I just wanna do my own thing. Hey, it's not too late. I promise it's fun!
DeleteI love the question idea. I feel like I should eat the muffin since it is breakfast but the cookie wins!! I want the cookie.
ReplyDeleteThanks Judee! Vegan cookies too!
DeleteThe cookies always!!
ReplyDeleteCookies are winning ...
DeleteLove the drawings as I call them.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I love do draw!
DeleteDefinitely the cookies as I don't eat anything with banana in it.
ReplyDeleteCookies by default then. Or we can remove the nanners and make a muffin of your picking.
DeleteFor breakfast, the muffins first, cookies second, but since they have nuts in them I might pass...
ReplyDeleteHey Alex. We can remove the nuts. I forget not everyone likes nuts.
Deletecute cartoons. Since it's breakfast I'm probably going to grab the muffin first. Chances are after I finish it I'm gonna go back and get a cookie though.
ReplyDeletelolol on going back for the cookies.
DeleteWhat fun cartoons! I am going for the muffin! Thank you very much! lol. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteAnytime! Thanks for playing.
DeleteCute! Probably muffin for breakfast. Then cookie for morning snack.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds good. Get the best of both!
DeleteI have to choose?? No No, I'll have a muffin AND a cookie please.
ReplyDeletelolololololol, For you, two cookies.
DeleteCookies!
ReplyDeleteStrong in the lead I think. I'll have to count at the end to be sure.
DeleteWhatever the question: the answer is always cookies.
ReplyDeletelolololol THIS is an excellent idea for a shirt.
DeleteThese are super cute and really make me smile. Cookie, please!
ReplyDeleteCookies on the way!
DeleteI'm happy you are back, Ivy. Your cartoons make me smile. I could have either muffins or cookies, but probably would choose the muffin.
ReplyDeleteMuch thanks, Sandra It's really nice to be posting again and more often. I forget when I'm away sometimes how much I miss it. And how much I enjoy when I'm here. If that makes sense.
DeleteIf I couldn't have both, I would have to take the chocolate chip cookie. They are SO good when still warm from the oven.
ReplyDeleteThat's true, Lori. They really are. Yum.
DeleteHmmm, hard choice but I think if the muffin is nice and warm from the oven I would slather some butter on it and chow down. Maybe I would have the cookie for a "snack".
ReplyDeleteLove your cartoons for Inktober ... love that name.
Sue
I would do both... with a cup of coffee please.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I know I can only choose one.
It will be the muffin, with butter and a cup of coffee please.
xo
Now lets Boogie ~ Boogie ;-)
Dear Ivy, I absolutely love your sketches, dear friend! Hmmm....I am not a big fan of either cookies or muffins. Not at all sure! Let's choose oatmeal cookies! Those I really like. Chocolate chip, too. :)
ReplyDeleteI love your art, so I'd take neither treat and go for your mug instead, ha.
ReplyDeleteI love your cute figures, they always make me smile, so enjoyable! I fixed a beef stew and had a savory biscuit with it. Hanging head in shame, I cheated as though the stew was homemade, the biscuits came out of a can :0
ReplyDeleteCookies for me all day long!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely the muffins....with lots of black coffee.
ReplyDeleteNice cartoons.
