AT LEAST I STOPPED SWEARING

It's long over-due. Time to turn this blog into a food blog. I want to say proper food blog but that's something I've not succeeded at ... yet. But that's okay, I'm gonna give it another go. I'm also happy to report that I'm no longer swearing as I change this site around.

So that's good.

In other news, I didn't work on my studio wall this past weekend as planned. Instead, I moved my work bench next to the yucky wall and shot video from Friday through Sunday.

Oh my gosh, what fun.

As for the bake, I'm only two drafts in so for now, here's a picture of my Chocolate Baby Bundt Cakes (no eggs or dairy).  But I'm excited to share the formula with you in an upcoming post, right here on my very own foodie blog.

That's right. I'm gonna be a food blogger when I grow up.

Hope you get to feeling better soon.

    1. Hello Jenny aka The Cream Puff Eating Champion and avid reader.
You are funny. Loved the post. And the memes. Thanks, Jenny.
Yes, I share some of that with you in things I cannot eat.
What are the few things you miss the most, if any?

      Delete
    2. I'm just finding your question now, Ivy - hope you find my answer! I miss tomato sauce and coffee. Badly :) We still have pizza once in awhile; it's homemade and I can control the amount of sauce on it and the spiciness. So that's not a total loss. As for the rest of the things I can't have - tea, coffee, cola, peppermint, citrus fruits/juice, chocolate, and all sugar alcohols (sweeteners in gum, candy and other factory-made sweets) - I don't miss those because they make me so miserable.

      What do you miss?

      Delete
    3. Wow, Jenny. That's a good list of stuff but I understand when something doesn't make me feel good when I eat it, I don't tend to miss those.

For a long time I could not have corn or go into the movie house because I would break into rashes and have problems breathing from the corn. So I really missed going to the movies and fresh corn on the cob.

These days I can have corn and be around it but some corn products still mess with me from time to time but not to the extent of being itchy, dizzy, hard to breath or full-on rash.

But I'd say corn and just being around it was a big miss for me for a long time.

I love that you can make your own sauce and spices. What is in coffee, tea, tomatoes, chocolate and stuff that you can't have? Can you have carob?

  9. Congratulations on stopping the bad words. Me, I just started cursing. I think it has something to do with the balance of power in the world! Sucks!
Yum, chocolate...that'll ease the anger, at least for a minute or two. How many is there? LOL

  15. Baby Bundts! So cute. At least these are on my screen, not in my kitchen. I'm off cake at the moment. Off a lot of other things too. Doc says lose 20kg (44 pounds) or dip into the "wonderful" world of diabetes. So of course I'm obeying his orders.
