FQ: THINGS I SUCK AT

I'm very, very happy with my ability to sustain a high level of productivity. Writing, drawing, baking, comes nature for me. I value that in myself and I'm happy it's part of me.

But ...

Let's jump into the TARDIS and visit The Great Declutter of 2016. Entirely motivated by a want for a whitebox. A place to shoot food photos. That single focus fueled an entire letting go of 95 percent of my stuff.

With food, videos, cartoons, blog posts, IG captions, podcast and so on, I don't have that single focus or whitebox in mind. In fact, I don't even know what my main is?

Which brings me to my podcast,

Friday Question: What do you suck at?

2nd Friday Question:

Name the last baked good you ate? For me, CANDY CANE SCONES, from my air fryer - Yeah baby. Life is good.

And now, drum roll please... the answer to last week is ... Lucy's kitchen! If you look to left, she's coming into the room.

Stale Oreos and hairy pickles for everyone because let's face it, everyone should have a plate of that. So gross.

Happy Weekend, Boogerbutts!

  1. sounds like you have to find a focus now that you have tried so many things! Pick your favourite and go with that.

    1. Thanks, Christine. I actually found a place for all of them to live on one platform. Which is more fun for me than just picking one.

  2. I agree with Christine. Pick a favourite and launch it. Or just throw a bunch of favourites into a hate and choose one :)

The last baked good I had is an oatmeal cookie. Love them.

    1. Should have been "hat" not "hate" LOL

    2. Thanks, Martha! I decided to keep them all but house them on one platform that I own, rather than google owning it. This gives me the freedom I want without having to be concerned if Google with shut that down, too.

  3. You've proved you suck at being a hoarder!
I suck at anything automotive. I can change a tire and that's about it.

  4. You DON'T suck at pushing past your fears. Which is wonderful.
The things I suck at are legion. Dyson would be jealous.

    1. Thanks, Debra. It's fun to read what other people suck at. Yum on the pie - that I never heard of before you mentioned it, but I do love me some cinnamon. Yum.

  6. I suck at many things, but probably the worst (because it affects other people in my life) is keeping to a schedule.

The last baked good I ate was a store-bought cranberry muffin, several days ago. I find it's better to buy a limited amount of something than to bake a whole lot of something, because . . . I just go and eat it until it's gone :)

    1. That's an interesting point you make about the other people in your life. That's true. Excellent point.

      I love cranberry muffins.

  7. I suck at Sudoku. I have family members who can complete those little number puzzles in no time at all. I can sweat over an "easy" one for a day and end up ripping it into confetti.
The last baked thing I ate was the apple cinnamon teacake recently featured on my blog.

  10. Hi Ivy, gosh you are doing so much.

One thing I totally agree with is when 'EC' says, "You DON'T suck at pushing past your fears. Which is wonderful."

I think you should hold back and just focus on one thing at a time, perhaps decide what is your favourite and go with that for a while … I always find after that things seem to have their own flow and slot into place, hopefully you may/will find the same.

One thing I suck with is cars! I can drive them but if anything goes wrong my personal mechanic (Eddie) has to take charge, either that or go down the local garage!

Hope you are having a good weekend, we have rain and wind at the moment - perhaps better tomorrow.

    Take care, my good wishes.

    All the best Jan

    1. Thanks, Jan.

Just doing one thing in total, won't cut it in today's market. I can't afford to put my eggs in one google basket. I've gotta be able to branch out and work on multiple projects. Which lucky for me, I do enjoy.

Decided to build one platform to house all my stuff but a page that I own, rather than google owning it. Google has been pulling their platforms so, it's just not smart for me to just do YouTube.

I suck at cars too! Very cool that you have your own personal mechanic Eddie. How cool is that? What a wonderful honey bunny.
