Part of why I'm productive is simple. I was born this way - it's got nothing to do with me. I get it from my grandma. The other part is because of The Great Declutter of 2016. Doing that, increased my productivity and creativity by a gazillion percent.
A gazillion percent. Not a typo.

Now ... onto Friday Question (one day late).
FQ: What's the chore you wish you never had to do? For me, it's dishes. If I never did another dish in all my life, I'd love it.
FQ Bonus Round: Name this messy kitchen and win three stale Halloween Oreo Cookies, two hairy pickles and one bean bag chair (beans not included).
I hate ironing, but, ironically, I love doing the washing up. I find scrubbing dishes etc very zen. An oasis of calm in my day. But then I'm a bit odd ;)
ReplyDeleteI get that. I enjoy most chores for that same reason but dish takes too long, given how much I bake and cook. So it's on my, I HATE LIST! Thanks for stopping in today, Flea.
DeleteThat would be the kitchen of Alice Kramden's kitchen.
ReplyDeleteThat is what happens when you break your chain of thought to look up how to spell "Kramden" and finish your sentence without smoothing it back over. :)
Deletelollololol
DeleteIt's the kitchen from the Honeymooners.
ReplyDeleteDishes is a close second. Mow the lawn is first.
Lawn first? Wow, wow. See, just goes to show how different folks can be as lawn is in my top loves to do during mowing season. Thanks for playing, Alex.
DeleteI hate wrapping gifts!
ReplyDeleteThat's a new one on me. I tell you, I'd be happy to wrap your gifts if you want to do my dish. No? No good? lol.
DeleteI dislike scrubbing the bathroom. And all housework generally. That's why I hire a cleaner. It's worth EVERY PENNY.
ReplyDeleteI get that being worth EVERY PENNY, if it's something you don't fancy. Thanks, Debra.
DeleteEmptying the toilet!
ReplyDeleteEmptying? Isn't that done just by flushing?
DeleteThanks, guys! That's can be an un-fun one for sure.
DeletePortable toilet in a caravan!
DeleteYeppers. Un-fun for sure.
DeleteEasy, peasy, it's Lucy's kitchen! I hate vacuuming, hubby does it and the dishwasher washes the dishes. Cold, windy day here today with 8" snow so far... Take care
ReplyDeleteI'm excited to get a dishwasher. Thanks, Pam. Wow, wow, on your snow. Dang!
Deleteis that Lucy's ktichen? I hate ironing in fact I don't do it.
ReplyDeleteIroning, good one. Yeah, I don't iron either. I don't hate it, but I don't see the point. The wrinkles unwrinkle enough for me with body heat. Thanks, Christine.
DeleteIroning. Gift wrapping. The dishes are (mostly) ok.
ReplyDeleteSecond one for ironing and gift wrapping today. Thanks, Sue!
DeleteI dislike dusting, there just isn't any way to get it done quicker without giving away all the furniture. I can't name that kitchen, but it doesn't look messy to me, it looks like a baking job is in progress.
ReplyDeleteHi River! Dusting, that's a good one!
DeleteDusting mine.
ReplyDeleteSecond for dusting. Thanks, Dora!
DeleteBasically I hate housework of any kind. I had a dishwasher when we lived in NC and really miss it. Cooking, on the other hand, is something I enjoy.
ReplyDeleteCooking is so fun, agreed. Dishwasher, dishwasher, can't wait to get one. Thanks for playing, Jo!
DeleteI was thinking Lucy's kitchen, too, but I could be wrong.
ReplyDeleteAs for the chore I dislike: COOKING!
Yes, I can hear you GASPING all the way over here! :D
Whatttt? You? Not like cooking? Lol. I did know that about you and I get it. I do. Thanks for playing, Stacy!
DeleteI've got no idea what that locale is!
ReplyDeleteHi William. Thanks for stopping in today.
DeleteDusting. Hate dusting. Oh, and scrubbing bathtubs - awkward, hard on the knees, thankless. Don't know whose kitchen it is, but it looks "homey" to me. -Jenn
ReplyDeleteHey Jenn! You're the third one for dusting. Looks like that one's in the lead.
DeleteHard on the knees, Tim has that too for stuff. Not so fun.
Thanks for playing.
That's MY kitchen!! lol
ReplyDeleteNo, it looks like Lucy coming in the door at the left there, but other than that I have no idea.
I don't like housework of any kind, but washing dishes is the worst because it hurts my back to stand for that long. We bought a dishwasher for Christmas several years ago and it saved my back and our sanity - ha ha
Vacuuming/sweeping/mopping is a close second, again because it aggravates a lower back problem. I try to do one or two rooms at a time, and I don't really do as good a job or as often as I should.
Please keep your hairy pickles, BTW :D
Having a hurting back is no joke and that makes sense that anything that does hurt, would not be enjoyable.
DeleteYou cracked me up when you wrote, please keep your hairy pickles. I read that to Tim, so funny.
Thanks for playing, Jenny!
That's the kitchen from I Love Lucy, right?
ReplyDeleteI don't know which chore I don't like to do? I'm pretty easy going! LOL! It's when someone asks me to do something, when I had other things planned, I don't like!
Sounds like you're easy going with chores but not so easy going when someone asks you to do something when you have other things planned. Hey, I get that. We all have something that makes us nuts. Thanks for stopping in and boogie boogie.
DeleteDo you know I really don't mind ironing, or dusting … not too keen on vacuuming though (thank goodness Eddie doesn't mind doing it LOL!)
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
