Over the weekend, Tim helped me clean out the fridge and I'm happy to report that the kitchen/lab is working - or at least will work until spring when we you know what happens ....
Knock the flippin' cupboards OUT!
Those interested in seeing my new toy (from the restaurant store), and my temporary baker's rack solution, click the video below.
And that my little blueberries, is all that's fit to print.
Glad you're feeling better and cooking up a storm.
ReplyDeleteTried eggrolls this weekend. Perfect!
Thanks, Alex!
DeleteWoohoo on your perfect eggrolls.
Waffle cookies sound good!
ReplyDeleteThanks! They need a wee bit of work but are getting there.
DeleteIm happy you feel better Ivy!! xoxox
ReplyDeleteThanks. Loved your cherries on top of your bake. That was VERY cool.
DeleteI'm so glad you're feeling better. I like the idea of knocking out cupboards, but for me they would have to be replaced with better cupboards. I like cupboards where I can close the doors and not see the mess inside.
ReplyDeleteI get that, River.
DeleteThanks for stopping in today!
Hope you're having a yummy day.
Oh you didn't show the making of the waffle cookies. Bummer !
ReplyDeleteHappy your feeling better.
cheers, parsnip and mandibles
That's my bad, Parsnip.
DeleteHow's Mandibles today?
Too cute with that looking for Santa.
What air fryer do you have and why did you pick that one.
DeleteHey Gayle! Thanks for the question. I just emailed you the video of mine. Sadly though, my basket started chipping within two weeks. Ack! But I love the 1700 watt power.
DeleteHooray for being better.
ReplyDeleteDo you know I don't think I have ever had a waffle?
I wish I could send you a fresh plateful. They are yummy.
DeletePS: I have fruit in the fridge and it makes me think of you!
neat new tool. Glad you are feeling better!!!
ReplyDeleteMuch thanks. Love squash that you made. I also love how much we get just from one. So fun. Happy Cooking.
DeleteYay for feeling better!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Birdie!
DeleteThose waffle cookies looked interesting. Hope they were good!
ReplyDeleteThey need a rewrite but are getting there. Thanks, Stacy. Stay warm.
DeleteWhat a newsy video! So glad you're feeling better again. Your enthusiasm is inspiring!
ReplyDeleteMuch thanks, Debra.
DeleteI'm no longer half-life and that feels good. I laughed at your blog today. You crack me up. Always.
Welcome back to the world of the living.
ReplyDeleteThat's just how it feels! Yes!
DeletePS: Love, love, love the private coffee shoppe you showed on your blog. Those places, they make me so happy. Thanks for sharing the pictures.
I can tell from your voice that you are better. Love your videos and your excitement is catching.
ReplyDeleteHey Girl. Thanks for stopping in both places. I read your blog today and you are funny with that waiter. That, I can see turning into a cartoon.
DeleteVery, very funny.
I think that waffle cookie froze to the plate. ;)
ReplyDeleteHahahahahahahaha.
DeleteI hadn't thought of that.
Now I know the trick.
Hey Ivy,
ReplyDeleteExcellent stuff and I'm glad you're feeling better. I used to be married to a thick Belgium cookie! 😀
Hahahahaha
DeleteYou're funny!
Very happy to hear you're feeling so good.
ReplyDeleteHi Mary! Thanks.
DeleteI haven't seen a YouTube video from you, lately. You coming back?
Great view from your balcony, especially with the snow.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree, the kitchen has to be right for you, not anyone else (excepting Tim). Having to get a step ladder to take down an item - not good.
I mean, I can keep using the ladder but really, I dislike upper cupboards and just want the space bare, or a few open shelves. Tim is sooo supportive. He says that's my office and do make it the way that works. How cute is he? Thanks for watching, Sheila! Boogie boogie.
DeleteI love your enthusiasm. And I'm so glad you're feeling better! What a nifty new tool for the kitchen.
ReplyDeleteThank you, you big tease with your blog today. I said it before. Pure evil.
DeleteThose waffle cookies look so good - but it looks sooo cold outside. It was 40 degrees Celsius here today.
ReplyDelete40C is very nice. Over the weekend it was -17C, here.
DeleteI loved your video. I would say I'm jealous of the snow but we've been getting a ton too. Your waffle cookie is adorable and looks yummy!
ReplyDeleteHave a beachy week!
Elsie
You too, eh? Here's to keeping warm and a big thanks for taking the time to watch. Have a beachy week!
DeleteSo happy you are feeling better! Love the cookie/waffle maker! Big Hugs!
ReplyDeleteMuch, much thanks. Hugs, back.
DeleteGlad you're feeling better. Being sick sucks :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks bunches.
DeleteIt really does.
Happy Dance that you're feeling better.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Hi Jan. Thanks!
DeleteHappy not sick Saturday!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great name for it.
DeleteNot Sick Saturday.
Sounds like you've been busy, Ivy! Happy to hear you're feeling better!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Norma.
DeleteWe still don't have the house all in place but it's getting there.
Yay to good health. It's hard to wield a whisk properly when you're sick.
ReplyDeleteI love that. Wield a whisk.
DeleteSounds like you are a busy woman. I hope you share your demo for the cupboards.
ReplyDeleteI had no idea how much time went into post video production. Holy cupcakes, it's a ton of work.
DeleteI don't know if I'll be in the shot but I for sure will show the cupboards before and after.
Thanks, Dawn!
those look delish !!!
