BLOOMIN' HEADACHE

In better news, two kitchen shelves arrive soon. All of the decluttering, demo work and building of new rooms was driven by having a permanent place to shoot real videos for me to share recipes. It's been a long haul with plenty of setbacks.

For anyone who declutters and feels like it's a big job that takes forever. To anyone who gets discouraged over starts and stops. I promise you, the end-result is worth it.

Keep going.

Keep going.

Keep going.

Keep going.

    1. Thanks. Not really the onion but the over-eating of a salty spicy BLOOMIN' ONION, before bed. Lesson learned.

  5. I think an 8 pound onion would even do The Grinch in and onions are his favourite. :-p

Hope you are feeling better. xo

  7. A bloomin' onion sounds kind of good but maybe not before bedtime.

Thanks for the declutter encouragement. I've delved into this job a little more intensely of late and I've made some progress thankfully. One might know it to look, but I have. I've been finding some cool old stuff and reviving a lot of memories. Now I've got to keep going. I don't think the job ever really ends.

    1. Yes! Lesson learned. No more little piggy right before bed.

Excellent on the progress that you've made. Here's to more steps. I promise you though, the job does end. Or, it can if you so wish. I've long decluttered not to need to do it again. But ... we did move right into demo and rebuilding so we have messes from that. But the decluttering can for sure, come to an end.

    1. Hey Joey. Decluttering long done finished back in 2016 but the demo and redoing of rooms, adding a floor, changing the kitchen ... that's taken a long time.

Are you really going to keep all her stuff? Everything? Yow.

  15. Everyone is wishing you were feeling better, and I'm over here thinking, "You made your own blooming onion?!?!" You're probably feeling much better by the time you read this, so carry on. I am also very impressed with your decluttering, and would love to do that here (just need to get someone else on board ;) ) -Jenn

    1. Hi Jenn. All better. No more little piggy before bed. Lesson learned.

Yes, no kidding about the BLOOMIN' ONION. Some bits were burnt and some were excellent. But zero heavy oil taste.

Thanks on the decluttering. Getting all that done last year was a huge help to us. Now still still rebuilding.

Tell me more about needing to get someone else on board with you. I hear this a lot from folks. What's the biggest challenge you face within that problem? If you feel up to sharing.

  16. Decluttering and re-doing is HARD WORK. When we had this house repainted, the hardest work was getting READY for it.

    1. Hi Mary. The burnt bits not so much but the good bits were better than Outback. The air fryer has a clean taste to it, with little to no oil. Thanks for asking.

Sorry you've had the headaches too. Is it too much salt for you or something else?
