To think, this started last year, when I wanted a home for a white box. So I decluttered. And now ... a new room.
Been a LONG HAUL. Lots of setbacks but totally flippin' worth it.
I give you, the new floor. Along with Grandpa's fried spaghetti.
Thanks for watching and boogie boogie.
Great memory of your Grandpa!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Marie. I nearly didn't post that video but glad that I did. Thanks for taking the time to watch.
DeleteThings are coming along nicely!
ReplyDeleteSO CLOSE!!!!
DeleteIt's almost done!
ReplyDeleteWeird hearing your voice echo in that room, isn't it?
I did a tea kettle with my voice in there. Drove the dogs nuts. Wiggy even howled when I did it. Crazy echo. Loads of fun.
DeleteThe room looks great!
ReplyDeleteSpaghetti is good anytime of the day or night. Even cold is delicious.
I’m glad you have that memory of your grandpa.
Thanks, Birdie. He was big into ANYTHING for any time of day. No rules. Just fun.
DeleteTim's going to be so happy with his beautiful new office! And I must say that fried spaghetti is a new one on me.
ReplyDeleteOMG. I am so excited. We are getting the last bits done now. Thanks for taking the time to watch, Debra. Cheers and boogie boogie.

DeleteFried spaghetti! I haven't had that in ages.
ReplyDeleteHi Norma. Thanks for stopping in.
DeleteFried spaghetti. Never thought about doing that to leftovers before. I'll have to try that the next time I make spaghetti. And your floors look awesome. You do good work!!
ReplyDeleteHey Stacy. I'm enjoying your Instagram posts. Glad the food is good. Thanks for watching.
DeleteThis is the way I always have spaghetti. You mix up with the sauce, put in a pan. This is the way my children eat spaghetti too. No drippy soggy mess.
ReplyDeletecheers, parsnip
Very cool, Gayle. I'm with you. Always mix it up, too. Not of that drippy soggy mess. Blech.
DeleteWell done - liked both your videos.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Thanks for watching, Jan.
DeleteGreat job on the floor!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Christine. Tim and I did it together. I placed and clicked the planks and he banged them in.
DeleteLovely memories of your grandfather. A really, really lovely way to remember him.
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking the time to watch and for your kind words.
DeleteThat floor is gorgeous! Great job! You guys are busting your hump on your staycation. MMM, fried spaghetti for breakfast, sign me up. Your grandpa was one smart man!
ReplyDeleteHave a beachy week!
Elsie
Thanks for watching. Have you gotten in anymore good beach days? Pretty here today. But too chilly for the beach. Good yard work day though.
DeleteI want that floor so badly. Also willing to try fried spaghetti. We always make spaghetti sandwiches and now I'm thinking fried spaghetti sandwiches. Can't wait.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE spaghetti sandwiches. Yum. Very cool that you enjoy them as well.
DeleteLots of good stuff over at your place. The memory of your grandpa is the sweetest. And that floor is gorgeous. Awesome work on that room. Share another video when the stuff's moved in and set in place. I would love to see it!
ReplyDeleteWill do, Martha. Did you guys get snow? Started last night and so pretty. Not much on the ground here, but I love seeing it.
DeleteThe flooring looks great and I LOVE fried spaghetti!
ReplyDeleteThanks for watching and taking the time to comment on both places!
