It's about the end of the weekend for us, but still too early to close the lids on our coffins. But it's nearly closing time at Barnes and that means, home to toss a bird into the oven with a side of baby potatoes and mixed greens.
Yum.
What are you eating? Something yummy, I hope.
As for Friday's Question, a round of zombie heads for all who played. The answers were: walnut, raisin, cacao and homemade psyllium powder.
Thanks for playing and have a yummy night.
Well, I got two right...
ReplyDeleteHad a burger tonight - chicken burger.
Any sides with that burger?
Deletewell, i missed every one of them and never even heard of the last one...xoxo
ReplyDeleteHey Girl. All the food on your blog is loooookin' good. And neato about the Beach Boys. Cool beans.
DeleteI did not do very well on my guessing. Hopefully I will do better next time. I was at my mom's birthday party today so I had a ton of food- chicken, salads, vegetables, and the list goes on and on.
ReplyDeleteYou still win a zombie head. Everyone does. Happy birthday to your mom and yum on all the food. Did you take any photos for your blog?
DeleteWell I haven't heard of that last one.
ReplyDeleteIt's great for bakes.
DeleteOh no, I didn't get ONE right! How could I have missed psyllium powder, I ask you.
ReplyDeleteHahaha, I laughed at the, I ask you, bit. Too funny.
DeleteWe ate at a Chinese restaurant tonight, it had good reviews and we weren't disappointed in the Peking Duck! I'm with Debra on the psyllium powder.
ReplyDeleteI always wanted to try duck. Glad you weren't disappointed.
DeleteI can only accept half a zombie head. Which is fine.
ReplyDeleteIt is still toooooo damn hot here. Shortly I am going to put together a mini fruit salad. Mango, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and passionfruit. And that will do.
If I am still hungry I have some sourdough olive bread.
Half a head, coming up. The good bit is, the blood is already dried so you won't get it all over.
DeleteCan I have a z-Head? I didn't see Friday's post until today....are there any going spare??
ReplyDeleteNo Ray, you're so greedy!
DeleteBoys, boy, boys, I have extra. Got them for a super sale. Plenty to share.
DeleteWe had roasted chicken with root veggies. I'm on a root veggies kick lately.
ReplyDeleteWhat's not to love about root veg?
Deleteyour dinner sounds better than mine which was just taters and broccoli.
ReplyDeleteI love taters and broccoli. It's one of my go-to meals.
DeleteWell, I certainly blew it. But that's okay. It was fun trying. So, have a great week ahead, Wonder Woman! Today I'm in cleaning mode. I'll be tackling the dust bunnies in this beast of a house. I'm going in...wish me luck :)
ReplyDeleteHow did you cleaning mode go?
DeleteI just finished this afternoon. No joke. Top to bottom cleanup takes more than one day. I can't wait to move...
DeleteI got two right as well. Have a great week. Right now it's breakfast time, haven't made up my mind what to eat.
ReplyDeleteHope whatever you ate, that it was yummy.
DeleteOne one right for me. *sniff* *sniff*
ReplyDeleteI mean "only" one. :)
DeleteFunny, because I read, only even though it wasn't there.
DeleteI'm hoping for takeout!
ReplyDeleteHope you got something good.
Delete... and now we know, thank you!
ReplyDeleteIt's Monday night as I type this and we will be eating salmon, with broccoli and cheesy leeks - quite Yum!
Hope this week is a good one for you.
All the best Jan
Sounds yummy.
DeleteKale soup with grated cheese and home-made bread croutons. And a handful of walnuts. It was all delicious.
ReplyDeleteI love kale and walnuts!
DeleteYour dinner sounds good! We had green beans, cream corn, bread, and peaches for dinner. Some in my family had hamburgers as well, but I opted out on that, as I'm not much of a meat eater--unless the meat looks really good!
ReplyDeletePeaches, I cannot wait for those to come in season here. Thanks for stopping by, Bethany.
