Holy crap on a cracker, I'm at day 13 of a 28 Day Reboot (where I include juicing as part - not all - of my meal plan). It went fast. So
many changes just in this short time.
Woke today. Eye whites still getting brighter, though
little veins still present. Tissue around eyes less swollen. And Tim told me the breakouts on my back are healing.
Not too shabby.
Mental Outlook: Good. I feel stronger. I'm ready for my
doctor's appointment and then I talk my boss. My offer is to take a three day work load, with no more hot side. I love the puzzle of hot side, but physically I've set my spine backward. And that's just stupid. So we gotta have a sit down. And I am NOT looking forward to that conversation.
Not one stinkin'
bit.
Glad you are improving! At least you'll have a doctor's note when you speak with your boss.
ReplyDeleteThat's very true, Alex.
DeleteOne day at a time, always helps ;-)
ReplyDeleteIan
True true. Thanks :-]
DeleteHope all goes well. It seems to be headed that way! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Stacy. Hopefully the want to keep me on. They did hire a newbie so that should help out. But if not, I gotta keep moving forward with my health.
DeleteIt will all work out. Your health is more important than anything. If The Happy Whisk is to stay happy, she must be healthy! Good luck talking to the boss!
ReplyDeleteHahaha. That's true. Besides that I don't want to have to change my name to the Grumpy Whisk.
DeleteGlad you are feeling better. I'm too weak to try juicing as a meal. I need to chomp and chow down on real food to feel full and satisfied.
ReplyDeleteThat's understandable. And really, it took me a bit of mocking about to know just how much I personally needed for a meal.
DeleteGlad you are improving - just imagine where you will be at day 28! Good for you for taking control of your health. Hope your conversation with work goes well. Thinking about you, buddy! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for this wonderful comment. I got my doctor's note but I am chicken shit, so I haven't talked to him yet.
DeleteI will though. I must.
I have a hard time having conversations like that too. You can do it!!
DeleteI did it, I did it. And it went great. I got my three days. Woohoo. Thanks for all your good thoughts and wishes.
DeleteCheers and boogie boogie.
Hope the talk with your boss goes well. Thinking of you.
ReplyDeleteThank you Sandra - it's my fault for taking on too much at work. And even though they knew the risk, it still makes it hard for me to say I can't do it anymore.
DeleteGood luck with your talk but you have to put your health first.
ReplyDeleteVery true words, Susan. Thank you. And hey, who knows. Maybe I can get a job at Dollar General. It's only my MOST favorite store (aside from Wegmans and Whole Foods).
DeleteI'm glad to hear that you are feeling better. Your health comes first, so I hope that talk goes well. I could probably survive on drinking juices and eating very light meals. But the others in the household wouldn't make it!
ReplyDeleteI am thank you. And health should have always come first but I was dumb.
DeleteJuicing is a ton more fun that I expected it to be.
Loved your random thoughts. Too funny.
Im glad you feeling better I miss you whisk!!Your health is the first dear!!xo
ReplyDeleteLove your new header?
How are the sweet puppies?
Thanks. The puppies are good. They are both playing with a bone right now.
DeleteRemember what Count Rugen (Princess Bride) said: If you haven't got your health, then you haven't got anything.
ReplyDeleteTrue words. True words.
DeleteMy health is already screwed up thanks to stress. Please, PLEASE take care of yourself!
ReplyDeleteStress is a funny thing. Sorry it's gotten your health. Here's to both of us getting back on track.
DeleteGood luck! Hope all goes well
ReplyDeleteThanks. Me too.
Deletefingers crossed that the conversation goes well!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Dezmond.
DeleteGood luck, if he gives you any problems tell him me and Ray will come and speak to him!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the wonderful comment. You made me happy.
DeleteIf he's horrible, we'll force some of that green gunk, you've been drinking down his throat, that'll sort the bugger out!!
DeleteYou two are fantastic. Thanks bunches.
DeleteNot a problem.
ReplyDeleteYou guys are the best. Hugs.
DeleteHealth has to come first.
