Nothing Says I Love You like Matching Zombie Tee-Shirts & FREE Crapper Paper

That's right.  Tim and I now own matching zombie tees.  But even better than that, soon we'll have FREE matching crapper paper in both our bathrooms as well.  How you say?

Why I'd be happy to explain ...

Kmart register spit out a coupon.  Spend $75 on apparel and get $20 in FREE Kmart Money (points).  Only the coupon printed AFTER we nearly spent that much already.  So we returned the shirts, added a bright yellow work shirt for me and BAM - $20 in additional points.

Might sound like too much work, but for one extra work shirt (which I needed anyway), it means FREE crapper paper and whatever other useful stockpile goodies we need.

But dig this.  My new prep shirt is two sizes smaller than the pink one I wore to the store.  That's two sizes smaller.

Count 'em, two sizes.  Smaller.  Hot dog.

    1. I think the zombie tee was eight bucks. Something like that, cheap. They're in the men's department, folded.

  2. Great shirts and great deals! I love that you could return it all and start over with a better coupon! That is such a smart move. You win!

    1. Yeah, for one more work shirt, that I'd actually forgotten to get when I was there, and bam, worked great.

  3. I'm so jealous of your zombie t-shirts! All the Kmarts in Texas closed over ten years ago.

    1. No Kmarts? Ugh. We lost one about a half hour from here. Hope they have a BigK near your new home. Sometimes they have killer coupons.

  4. One of these days you're going to wise up and get a credit card that offers you travel points (i.e. Capital One Venture) - charge ALL of your purchases (we actually pay our phone, cable, electricity, and all grocery shopping with that card), pay off the bill each month (or you're not saving money) and then cash in the points for trips and other stuff. Our points paid for two round trip flights to California and numerous cruises! You just have to make sure you never pay any interest on that card, or that stuff isn't free!

Of course, with your couponing, most of your grocery shopping is zero, isn't it? That's pretty awesome.

    1. I have a strict cash-only policy when couponing. Super strict.

But for non-couponing stuff, we've long taken advantage of Amazon's rewards because they fit our needs (for now).

I love that you've been able to travel free. So great. I wish we could travel more but with the pups, that's a no go. Wiggy cannot handle a kennel with her anxiety issues. Bug would have fun though.

Yes, on the low to zero oop on food and house. I do still spend out of pocket but I try to drive the price as low as possible with stacking. And again, it's a strict cash and coupon only policy with me. When both run out, no more shopping until the next round.

    1. Yeppers, one trailer, two crappers. One bedroom, one office, washer, dryer, and a living room that opens into the kitchen.

Kind of like one long hallway.

    1. I dunno, I guess I'm at a toss up which I like better. The zombie tee or the upcoming free crapper paper.

Both are wonderful things to have.

    1. And it'll be zero out of pocket.

Did you get Twinkies this past week?

    2. No I didn't. I got hung up at the doctors on the day they came out. By the time I got to Wally World, the shelves were completely empty. They had those Hostess Choco Cupcakes at the grocers, but that ain't no Twinkie. I'm jonesing bad Whisk, I'm jonesing bad:)

  12. That's a great shirt! I recently took a picture of a couple in matching pink camouflage pants. I've been trying to talk John in to matching pink camouflage pants, but he just won't go for it.
