Hello Boogerbutts and Chubba Bubbas. I'm at another gain this week of 1.4 - and here's how I feel.
Last week I hit all my exercise goals. That's the first time I've been able to do that. Add to it that I only stress ate once and tired ate once. That's two times.
I love that I know that.
But probably the silliest moment was last night when we bought new shirts. I was able to fit into smaller shirt than last time and I will tell you this, I did a boogie dance right there in the dressing room. Ask Tim, he was there.
So scale shh-male. I'm gonna keep going.
Good for you and your new, smaller shirt!
ReplyDeleteThanks bunches & boogie boogie.
DeleteKeep at it!
ReplyDeleteI've lost 14lbs since Mother's Day using "My Fitness Pal" app on my IPhone. Plus, I exercise 5 times a week--but mostly so I can eat more calories. LOL
I sure will keep at it. Thanks bunches.
DeleteFive times per week is very good to me. Last week I hit my goal of four, and that was a big deal for me.
What kind of exercise do you enjoy the most?
Keep going girl. Exercise is the most important thing rather than being a slave to the scale.
ReplyDeleteBeing a slave to the scale, totally not my thang - thanks for the cheers and boogie boogie.
DeleteMuscle weighs more than fat, but is denser. Just remember that. That's why I'm more concerned with FITTING into my old shorts than I am with the scale.
ReplyDeleteI was bad this weekend (my friend cooked way too much GOOOOD food) and I ended up gaining 2 pounds since last Monday. I expect it'll be gone soon enough, though. I'll keep at it with the weights.
Way too GOOOOD food. Is there really such a thing? How's the weights going? Do you find it fun?
DeleteGood for you! You might be adding muscle mass. Scales can be deceiving too.
ReplyDeleteSometimes when I weigh-in Tim puts his foot on the back of the scale - but not this week.
DeleteGood on you. I'm not sure what I was last week but I think I'm about the same.
ReplyDeleteVery cool.
DeleteYes, exercising is more important because in the long run that's what keeps you healthy even if you don't lose every single pound you want. Keep at it!
ReplyDeleteI laughed at the end of your comment, every single pound you want.
DeleteI'd settle for not going up.
Thanks for the cheers.
I am the same as last week. Congrats on the smaller shirt size!!
ReplyDeleteThanks and cool beans on not going up.
DeleteWhat Stacy said. Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteThanks. Hope your packing is just about wrapped up, or at least soon.
DeleteBy exercising you are giving your heart a great gift and you're probably redistributing your weight at the same time. Plus you're gaining muscle - remember strong is the new skinny
ReplyDeleteFunny you mention hearts because on each day we work out, I put little hearts on that day.
DeleteWould have loved to see that dance!
ReplyDeleteHahaha. It wasn't good. But it was fun.
DeleteAwesome buddy! So awesome that you met the exercise goal! Keep it up. You are doing great regardless of what that silly scale says! :)
ReplyDeleteToday I'm just pooped, but thanks for the cheers.
DeleteWell, I'm holding steady so far and I never really go by my scale. It's all in the way the clothes fit...congratulations on your smaller shirt. You need to post an instructional dance video so we all can boogie with you :)
ReplyDeleteHolding steady is great news. Woohoo.
DeletePS: Dance wasn't very good but it was super fun. Girl's gotta boogie.
The scale is overrated, after all.
ReplyDeleteIf you're getting exercise and feeling fit, the program's working.
