Who wants to join my Chubba Bubba Club?
On Mondays I post how much I've lost or gained. Last week for example I went up, but down the week before. Since posting, I've heard from others also trying to lose the chubba bubba.
So, I figured I'd ask if anyone wants to come back on Monday and tell us what you lost or gained. We don't need to know your weight, unless you want to share that. And this won't be a post where we try to fix each other.
Just a fun Monday Weigh-in Report. Any takers?
I'm at my target weight, so at best I'd fluctuate a pound one way or the other. But it would be a great way to make oneself accountable.
ReplyDeleteI had a feeling you were good to go. But it'd be great to have you on the sidelines cheering us along.
DeleteMy goal is 14 pounds.
A very interesting idea. Could be a helpful motivator for me... Hmmm... OK, I'm in!
ReplyDeleteI've been doing this with a girlfriend of mine and Tim. So I figured why not invite others. Could be fun.
DeleteOh heck, why not? Count me in.
ReplyDeleteBut my goal isn't necessarily a fixed amount of weight loss. I'll be happy to fit in my shorts! I'm going on a cruise in November and I refuse to buy new clothes for it. Well, unless ALL my clothes become too BIG, then it's okay! :)
Fitting into shorts, very cool goal. It was when my pants split at work, then having to get a bigger size, that landed me here.
DeletePS: Imagine if all your cloths were too BIG? I agree, that's okay.
I only have 5lbs I'd like to shed but no scale to keep track - but I will definitely cheer you on!
ReplyDeleteVery cool on the fiver. That's not too bad. Thanks for the cheers. I'll take 'em.
Deleteargh, the sad thing is i have so much to lose and will-power of a stump. i will come and cheer everyone else on.
ReplyDeleteSorry you've hit a slump. I've hit those before as well. Thanks for the cheers.
DeleteI'll be part of the cheering committee!
ReplyDeleteThat's great. A cheering committee. I love it. So fun. Thanks & Boogie Boogie :-)
DeleteAlthough I could do with losing a few pounds, (more like a few stone) I'll join Fran in the cheering committee!
DeleteI don't keep a scale at home, but will gladly cheer you on! I currently judge my success by home often I'm on the bike or out walking. This week it has been almost daily! So happy! :)
ReplyDelete*how, not home. :)
DeleteSo groovy on your exercise goals. Woohoo. Thanks for the cheers.
DeleteSpeaking of exercise. I just got home and am about to get my 30 minutes in.
Then supper!
You are amazing! :) Thanks for the encouragement as well!
DeleteJust read your post. I was recovery from my week of exhaustion :)
ReplyDeleteEven though I have a non-functioning thyroid, I'd love to join your Chubba Bubba Mondays. My weight fluctuates on a daily basis so this should be interesting. I'd love to ultimately lose 30 pounds but just 5 would be a blessing. (Baby steps...)
Oh my gosh, that post you did about exhaustion was too frickin' funny. I loved it. So well done.
DeleteWelcome to our little Chubba Bubba Club. I think this will be fun.
I've been trying to take off a few. I'll be back on Monday and share whether I had a chubba bubba week or if I behaved.
ReplyDeleteChubba Bubba. It's just fun to say.
DeleteWelcome to our little group.
I am down for it. I was doing great up until June, lost a little over 20 pounds, but then I became the first sergeant and I often find myself having to miss the morning work out and frankly after working 13 hour days...this guy is not doing an evening work out. Hopefully that will end soon and I can being focusing on me a little again. I had wanted to lose more by GenCon, but not sure if I can still reach my goal (I want to be in the 2-teens and then by Christmas be around 210).
ReplyDeleteHappy to have you here, Matty. Congrats on becoming the first sergeant. I was going to send you a private email because I know you're doing your workout posts and thought you'd be a fun part of the group.
Delete13 hour days are killer. We started to workout before work on some days but that's even killer.
210 is where Tim wants to be, as well.
I'm generally at my target weight, and the amount of exercise I get in helps keep me there.
