LOL, I can so relate to that. I'm especially bad when I'm crafting. I never seem to keep things clean as I go. By the time I'm done I always have a huge mess.
Oh sweet Ivy...I have those days too. Makes us more proud and grateful for those days that go our way and run smoothly.. Wishing you a beautiful tomorow and the day after....
Yes, I'm feeling like that today. It is far too hot this week for those kind of jobs. I agree with Denise about publishing your art work. You are very talented x
Hello Carla! Did a small cinnamon apple pie and then the day after, a small pumpkin pie. Then the last thing I cooked was whole potatoes in the electric pressure cooker. And today I'll chop the spuds, season and into the air fryer. How about you?
That's understandable too. I see a few others here that share your similar thinking. It's nice to read how different people feel. Thanks! Happy Weekend, too
Smiles I can relate- Growing up my Mom was a clean-aholic When I left home to go to college-I decided not to be like that. Tidy and clean yes but not craziness haha
my dad was a clean as he cooked my mother was NOT... she left it all out there until her kitchen looked like your drawing. I am even worse than my dad, I hate cooking and I hate clean up, but I clean as I go and when people are eating I have been know to take their plate before they were done. ha ha
I cannot imagine ever hating cooking and baking. You're funny about taking plates away too soon. Have you always found making food a misserable experience? I know someone else who doesn't like either however for her it's routed in a kitchen that just isn't working well. She said if she had a better setup, she'd likely enjoy it more. Wishing you a groovy weekend!
For me some days I'm real good about it. Other days not so much. But boy, I really, really love when the kitchen is cleaned before bed. Wishing you a great week.
I LOVE this. xx
ReplyDeleteMuch thanks, Joy!

ReplyDeleteWhat are you baking, cooking and doing?
Hello Carla! Did a small cinnamon apple pie and then the day after, a small pumpkin pie. Then the last thing I cooked was whole potatoes in the electric pressure cooker. And today I'll chop the spuds, season and into the air fryer. How about you?

ReplyDeleteThat's understandable too. I see a few others here that share your similar thinking. It's nice to read how different people feel. Thanks! Happy Weekend, too
DeleteSmiles I can relate- Growing up my Mom was a clean-aholic When I left home to go to college-I decided not to be like that. Tidy and clean yes but not craziness haha
ReplyDeleteHi fellow sewer! I can totally understand that middle ground approach. I like that! Hope it's a great day by the lake.

ReplyDeleteClean loos top to bottom each Friday
Hugs Cecilia
Hi Cecilia! That is a good idea. I knew someone once who had her deep clean of rooms on certain days. I like that idea you both have. Thanks.
