  1. Hot tea is always good, nice and strong with a dash of milk. First thing I do every morning. Put the kettle on and make a cuppa!

    1. Hi Sue! I think this book is more about making money vs savings. Saving and pinching a buck, that I love to do. Do you have an ALDI? I forget if I already asked you. So many good deals this week.

      Delete
    2. Nope, no Aldi's around here... its mostly Walmart and WinCo for the "cheapest"... in California its Never Cheap though !
      Sue

      Delete
    3. I've heard of WinCo but never been. I don't believe. Or maybe I'm thinking of Win Dixie. Not sure if that's the same. Bummer about the ALDI.

    3. Do you ever enjoy a London Fog? I love that one. Or, I used to until the tea brands changed and I dunno. Not the same now as it was. Though you said no milk and I add plant milk to my London Fogs. Or did, before the brands changed.

  28. I love coffee first in the am, and do not fancy tea of any kind, but have not tried Chai. I do drink fennel and peppermint tea for my digestive system issues. I love sugar filled iced tea from the land of my birth but don't drink it now... I have to say I drink store tea so might like tea not in bags from Walart

  30. That composition book is the kind I used to use for journaling. Brings back memories. I could use a book telling me how to make money, but pretty sure I wouldn't want to take any of the advice.

  35. Happy Monday the 13th.. read your comments. Glad to here from you. I am on a long break, busy bee is my middle name. now that I have added yard work to housework and care giving and organizing the garage, I have very little time to post/read others post. I miss blogging but it puts a strain on my brain. I am busy setting up a playlist of music for Bob on Youtube. He loves 30 through 60 years of du wap... he actually sits in the bed, with legs straight out and sways like he is dancing and also skates to the 50's music, he moves his arms and is skating again. he loves the American Band Stand and that is what he skated to at the rink, with his girlfriend/wife even after they were married in 1957. I use my laptop, and call out names and songs and we listen and he says yes or no to it.
the time we are doing that is the only time in my day that I had time to blog. Like right now its 4:38. Once the day starts, at 6 with breakfast I am off doing what he calls my pin ball act. rushing to and fro, like a pin ball game he used to play. His memory gets worse each day, but the three of us are doing well under the circumstances. I am enjoying my lawn mowing and raking and pitch forking. I do that at 7:30 for one hour, right after I walk the dog. Its cool, in the 60's. The heat after 9 is HOT.. hugs and love coming to you

    1. Love that you get out early before the heat. Very cool on the music that you play for Bob. Busy Bee really is your middle name. For sure. LOOOOOVE the battery operated mower. We have had that for some years now and it's just the best thing since sliced bread. Pin ball act, that is a perfect word for it. And also, you're the real Wonder Woman. Lemme tell ya. Huggs and love back at ya!

    1. Yum on the green tea with the lemon. Do you ever have green tea and lemongrass. One of my fave combos. I used to get it all the time and then I dunno what happened. The brand changed. Or the store stopped selling it. I can't recall for sure.

Thank you. I saw that image when I placed stuff done after getting my drink and was like, I gotta snap that.

    2. Sorry for the late reply Ivy. I am getting later and later catching up these days. No I haven't had green tea with lemongrass but it sounds wonderful, definitely something I would like to try. I'll take a look next time I go up to the store. Some places I find all of a sudden they stop selling things they got me used to, a bit frustrating. You sound like me, I often say that when I see something. They don't turn out as good as yours though. Have a great week ahead.

    3. Hellooooo Denise! Yes! I find that too with some places just stop selling things. Every now and then I look for my old tea but nadda so far. Wishing you a wonderful weekend ahead.
