That is a good one. I like that one. Do you like London Fogs? Barnes used to make really good London Fogs until the tea got changed out to a new brand.
Oh another fun finance book; I've been on a kick with books like that lately... can't say I've put much into practice that I didn't already know but I definitely get motivated to try harder.
I love your vignette. It is adorable and very badass! I think I need that book. However, I will need coffee which has more caffeine (my drug of choice) before I tackle that book. Hope you had a great Easter. Have a super week, Ivy.
Thanks. I'd just set up to read as I waited inside for a friend to meet up and I was like, I'm gonna shoot that with my phone. This was months ago. Re-picking up the book this week. Wishing you a super duper week too!
Thanks. I'd just sat down and set up all my goodies as I waited on a friend to meet up for a chat. When I looked down, I was like, I gotta snap this shot. Have a groovy wee!
I hope the book is good. I started it a long time ago when I took this picture at the cafe and haven't gotten back into it yet. Shooting for this week to get back into the book.
Hmmm ... Maybe I need to get that book. My finances are in the pits. We are getting by but its always a struggle. Just got back from spending my "wad" at the grocery store. I'm pooped and broke..(:0) Love a good cup of Chai tea latte ho t... makes my mouth water thinking about it. Happy Wordless Wednesday ... Sue
Hi Sue! I think this book is more about making money vs savings. Saving and pinching a buck, that I love to do. Do you have an ALDI? I forget if I already asked you. So many good deals this week.
Do you ever enjoy a London Fog? I love that one. Or, I used to until the tea brands changed and I dunno. Not the same now as it was. Though you said no milk and I add plant milk to my London Fogs. Or did, before the brands changed.
I love coffee first in the am, and do not fancy tea of any kind, but have not tried Chai. I do drink fennel and peppermint tea for my digestive system issues. I love sugar filled iced tea from the land of my birth but don't drink it now... I have to say I drink store tea so might like tea not in bags from Walart
Chai is a spicy though some make it sweet too. I like the bite. Fennel seeds I love and same with peppermint tea. Soooo good. Hope you're having a groovy sunny weekend. Sunny here warm now though this morning we had the heat on.
Hello Ivy! It looks like you spent a fun afternoon at a coffee shop! Was it Barnes & Noble? I was there last Friday. I like the sound of your book, by the way!
Hi Juila! We LOOOOOVE Barnes. The day I shot that photo I was at a Tim Horton's. The book I started awhile back and thought I'd get back into this week but the week is nearly gone. Whoooosh. Goes the time.
That composition book is the kind I used to use for journaling. Brings back memories. I could use a book telling me how to make money, but pretty sure I wouldn't want to take any of the advice.
Hi Karen. How great is that cover? It's a hard plastic cover and inside lives my rM2 writing tablet. Really fun though that cover. One of my all time faves. Cheers.
Happy Monday the 13th.. read your comments. Glad to here from you. I am on a long break, busy bee is my middle name. now that I have added yard work to housework and care giving and organizing the garage, I have very little time to post/read others post. I miss blogging but it puts a strain on my brain. I am busy setting up a playlist of music for Bob on Youtube. He loves 30 through 60 years of du wap... he actually sits in the bed, with legs straight out and sways like he is dancing and also skates to the 50's music, he moves his arms and is skating again. he loves the American Band Stand and that is what he skated to at the rink, with his girlfriend/wife even after they were married in 1957. I use my laptop, and call out names and songs and we listen and he says yes or no to it. the time we are doing that is the only time in my day that I had time to blog. Like right now its 4:38. Once the day starts, at 6 with breakfast I am off doing what he calls my pin ball act. rushing to and fro, like a pin ball game he used to play. His memory gets worse each day, but the three of us are doing well under the circumstances. I am enjoying my lawn mowing and raking and pitch forking. I do that at 7:30 for one hour, right after I walk the dog. Its cool, in the 60's. The heat after 9 is HOT.. hugs and love coming to you
Love that you get out early before the heat. Very cool on the music that you play for Bob. Busy Bee really is your middle name. For sure. LOOOOOVE the battery operated mower. We have had that for some years now and it's just the best thing since sliced bread. Pin ball act, that is a perfect word for it. And also, you're the real Wonder Woman. Lemme tell ya. Huggs and love back at ya!
Love it! I have just finished a cup of green tea with a lemon slice added. My favorite tea at the moment but a good old proper tea is heading my way soon :) Lovely composition on that photo.
Yum on the green tea with the lemon. Do you ever have green tea and lemongrass. One of my fave combos. I used to get it all the time and then I dunno what happened. The brand changed. Or the store stopped selling it. I can't recall for sure.
Thank you. I saw that image when I placed stuff done after getting my drink and was like, I gotta snap that.
Hot tea is always good, nice and strong with a dash of milk. First thing I do every morning. Put the kettle on and make a cuppa!
ReplyDeleteVery nice. Love that. Broke both my kettles. Had chai this morning. Nothing like a good cuppa, Ray!
DeleteHmmm, your new study project? I would have needed strong coffee for this.
ReplyDeleteGot this book awhile back and started reading it at the cafe. Haven't gone back to it. Gonna give it another go this week.
DeleteI love tea, Ivy.
ReplyDeleteMe too. Do you like chai? Love that.
DeleteNot sure if I ever tried it. My favourite is Earl Grey.
DeleteThat is a good one. I like that one. Do you like London Fogs? Barnes used to make really good London Fogs until the tea got changed out to a new brand.
DeleteTea does wonders sometimes. Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteIt's like a little cuppa'heaven. Or, heaven in a cup.
DeleteCan't go wrong with a hearty cup of tea. Hope you're keeping well, Ivy.
ReplyDeleteGreat to see you, Tim!
DeleteI go for coffee these days but I still like a good cup of tea every now and then. I wish I was a badass at making money. I could always use more
ReplyDeleteI am not badass at making it but maybe this will help. Sure a catchy title. What kinda coffee do you fancy?
DeleteTitle of the book is funny!
ReplyDeleteIt is. Love the green too.
DeleteOh, I recognize that take-away cup! TIMMIE'S!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI have two that I go to and both are fun to meet up with a girlfriend for a chat or read. Do you go inside of yours?
DeleteOh my, that looks like deep reading!
ReplyDeleteHey Mari. I started reading it awhile back and stopped. Picking it back up this week. Happy Wordless Wednesday.
DeleteOh another fun finance book; I've been on a kick with books like that lately... can't say I've put much into practice that I didn't already know but I definitely get motivated to try harder.
ReplyDeleteI started this back awhile ago and stopped. Picking it back up this week. Can't say yet if good or not. Very cool that they are making your do better.
DeleteI love your vignette. It is adorable and very badass! I think I need that book. However, I will need coffee which has more caffeine (my drug of choice) before I tackle that book. Hope you had a great Easter. Have a super week, Ivy.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I'd just set up to read as I waited inside for a friend to meet up and I was like, I'm gonna shoot that with my phone. This was months ago. Re-picking up the book this week. Wishing you a super duper week too!
DeleteThat's a nicely-composed photo,
ReplyDeleteThanks. I'd just sat down and set up all my goodies as I waited on a friend to meet up for a chat. When I looked down, I was like, I gotta snap this shot. Have a groovy wee!
DeleteI'm currently on my second cup of chai....feeling like I need a third! The book looks interesting.
ReplyDeleteYum. Started my day with chai as well. Love that!
DeleteI hope the book is good. I started it a long time ago when I took this picture at the cafe and haven't gotten back into it yet. Shooting for this week to get back into the book.
I am enjoying a coffee right now. ;-)
ReplyDeleteWonderful way to start the day!
DeleteHmm coffee yes. Hope it is a good book :-D
ReplyDeleteThanks. I hope so too.
DeleteNice
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteLovely!
ReplyDeleteThanks. Loved the little orange feet/legs in the one post you did. So cute.
DeleteI need, not just like, my afternoon pot of strong tea and a little something. That's a very nice composition you did there, Miss Ivy!
ReplyDeleteTea is a wonderful thing, Boud. Do you have any special kinds you enjog?
DeleteIt sounds like you sat at a cafe' and caught up on things. Those are some of the best moments. I wish you a good spring week!
ReplyDeleteHappy Spring Week to you too! Thanks.
DeleteI just love this!
ReplyDeleteHey Jeanie! Much thanks for the visit. Happy Spring.
DeleteI've just made a cup of tea :)
ReplyDeleteHope it's a good book.
Happy midweek wishes.
All the best Jan
Hi Jan! Lovely. What kinda cuppa did you make?
DeleteHmmm ... Maybe I need to get that book. My finances are in the pits. We are getting by but its always a struggle.
ReplyDeleteJust got back from spending my "wad" at the grocery store. I'm pooped and broke..(:0)
Love a good cup of Chai tea latte ho t... makes my mouth water thinking about it.
Happy Wordless Wednesday ...
Sue
Hi Sue! I think this book is more about making money vs savings. Saving and pinching a buck, that I love to do. Do you have an ALDI? I forget if I already asked you. So many good deals this week.
DeleteNope, no Aldi's around here... its mostly Walmart and WinCo for the "cheapest"... in California its Never Cheap though !
DeleteSue
I've heard of WinCo but never been. I don't believe. Or maybe I'm thinking of Win Dixie. Not sure if that's the same. Bummer about the ALDI.
DeleteI am enjoying a cup of hot tea while looking at your post. Go forth, make money, and be a bad ass!!!
ReplyDeleteLovely. What kinda hot tea did you make?
DeleteI need to come study this book right along beside you. I would say this is a post full of inspiration... Make that money girl...
ReplyDeleteHey Shug. I'll let you guys know how I like it. I did start it and then put it down so to pick it up again is the plan.
DeleteI have a hot tea beside me right now. I hope that book is helpful.
ReplyDeleteLovely. Do you have a special kinda tea you enjoy the most?
DeleteEnglish Breakfast "rich and full-bodied" by Twinings, with a teaspoon of honey. No milk.
DeleteDo you ever enjoy a London Fog? I love that one. Or, I used to until the tea brands changed and I dunno. Not the same now as it was. Though you said no milk and I add plant milk to my London Fogs. Or did, before the brands changed.
DeleteGlass of wine right now, but had coffee this morning. Making extra money is a good thing.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Thank you, Jackie!
DeleteYou look like you've been being busy being studious. I'm not good at making money- sadly- so maybe I need that book. :) Hope it was a super day!
ReplyDeleteHey Erika. I was hanging at a Horton's waiting on a friend. Was a nice day. Wishing you a fun creative new season.
DeleteInteresting looking book. I like the photo
ReplyDeleteHi Sharon. Thanks and thanks!
DeleteI enjoy a hot cup of tea too
ReplyDeleteIsn't it the best. Like a little cuppa heaven. Do you have any special kind you like over the other?
DeleteNot me, lol. But it's never too late, right?
ReplyDeleteNever too late to learn new stuff for sure.
DeleteI love coffee first in the am, and do not fancy tea of any kind, but have not tried Chai. I do drink fennel and peppermint tea for my digestive system issues. ReplyDeleteHi Diana! I think I'll do that. If it turns out to be good stuff I'll share notes here. Wishing you a wonderful weekend too.
DeleteWhat makes a day perfect? Something to drink, something to read, something to write, someone to tell about it.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I agree. It's just a perfect little moment now turned memory.
DeleteHello! Perfect way to spend a day!
ReplyDeleteThanks for popping in, Billie Jo! Happy new week to you.

DeleteI prefer strong coffee! I drank too much tea when I lived in England 😂 and I love my strong coffee in the morning with bread and blue cheese!
ReplyDeleteNice add with the bread and cheese. Very peaceful meal. Love that.
