I'm Pooped - Pooped I Say, Pooped!

Raise your hand if you're tired from the day. I really, really am. Even though we like homemade food better, it's just not gonna happen today. Smoochie Face is on the ride home with eats and boy, I'm starving.

After we eat, I'll shower, get into my jammies and plop on the couch. I have more Spring Baking Championship and also I started a Kong, I wanna say Skull Island. Can't recall for sure. We have Max now.

Does anyone else trade out streaming services? We do. I love that too because we can't watch them all and this saves us money. Plus, we enjoy it more this way. We've been doing this for a few years now. Swapping out the streaming.

Love that.

In other news, I have more sprouts started. Mung beans and also quinoa. Never did the quinoa before. Excited to see how it goes. Haven't shot any macros yet. That's gonna be fun. Tonight though, Tim uses the computer for game and me, I'll be on the new couch watching Kong and/or spring baking.

And that my Boogerbutts is all that's fit to print.

Huggs & Buggs, Me.

  1. A good hot meal will perk you up after a long day at work! I just finished watching the first episode of Spring Baking Championship today. There's some awesome bakers in this year's lineup!

    1. Hey Debra! I saw that the new season started. I'm on the series right behind the new one. Though I'll catch up to you quickly. I like to binge those baking championships.

  2. Sometimes take out just rocks.
Skull Island was all right. Better when Kong ad Godzilla met up thought.
And yes, we juggle the streaming services. We'll cancel one and get another for a while.

    1. Hey Alex. We did really enjoy our meals last night. That was nice. I finished Kong and I enjoyed it a lot. Made me cry too. I love when movies do that!

  5. I haven't eaten out or gotten take out in a long time. I did think about it the other day but my cheapness won out and I found something to eat at home.

  7. Sometimes I think I need more streaming services and sometimes I think (know) that if I did I wouldn't have time to watch everything I already record and don't watch!

    1. There are a lot of good streaming services out there for sure. We just weren't watching them all at once. I find since we've been doing this for a few plus years now, we really, really enjoy the one we have at the time we have it. I've never recorded anything. I hear that is fun too!

  10. Sometimes we just have to do takeout. I rarely watch tv so I've let most of my streaming sites go. I have Prime and BritBox and that's it. I hardly use them. I hope you are well rested.

    1. I agree with that, Sandra. It was tasty too. We don't have TV/basic cable in the house. Just streaming. Nice for movies. Been enjoying those. I did want to try BritBox one time though. When you do get to watch BritBox, do you like it?

    2. I do, but I am a fan of British TV. I spend so much time listening to books my series I have liked have taken a back seat.

    3. Did you ever watch The Detectorists? Spelling might be off. Or, Black Books? We love both those shows. Though I never tried Acorn or BritBox. They're on my list to try.

  11. It's gloomy and rainy out, so that doesn't help one rejuvinate, does it? It does make a good day to read, which is what I did. Now I think I might go watch some TV. I'm on season 3 of Star Trek: Voyager (via DVD).

    1. Oh yeah, I love a good rainy day reading or just drawing. I love that you still have DVDs. We do too. I'm grooving on I Love Lucy. Enjoy Yoyager!

  12. It is a nice treat to get food out once in a while. After dinner is cleared and clean I head for my pjs too. I will not when summer comes but now I do.

We do not swap we don't have that many we watch

    1. It's so nice to get into jammies. I'm in mine now. Neat that you got Max for a good deal. We went with the year/$150 bucks. One shot payment. Before that we were doing Discovery Plus and then they upped the price and since that comes with Max now, we just went for the full year. I like that we get updated movies on Max. How have you liked Max so far?

  13. We rarely watch TV, so no streaming service.
We haven't had a take-away in ages, hope you enjoyed yours.
Hope after a good nights sleep you are feeling refreshed.
    Take care.

    All the best Jan

    1. Hey Jan. We don't have TV/basic cable. So I get not being into TV. TV kinda sucks with the adverts and the noise. The takeaway was very nice. We were both whooped and really enjoyed it. Wishing you a yummy day!

  15. Have to say I am always tired but I don’t have the excuse that you have. Let’s just say, and as my mother used to say to me, I’m permanently tired, lol! Now I know what she means. Glad you didn’t have to cook a meal tonight, sweet of Smoochie Face to bring it home for you. Nothing like having a shower and getting into jammies at the end of a long day. You certainly deserve that. I look forward to those macros. Never tried growing my own sprouts before. Sweet dreams and have a great day and weekend ahead.

    1. That's funny what your mom said. I agree, shower and jams for the win. As for being so extra tired, turns out I was fighting an infection and didn't know it. Sprouts are fun! I ordered radish sprouts. Never tried those before. Will let you guys know how it goes. Thanks for stopping in.

    1. Hi Donna. Before I got married I never ate popcorn and now I love it. Just ordered new kernals. They'll arrive this coming week. Very cool that you trade streaming with your daughter. Great way to save some cabbage. Cheers and Huggs!
