Thank you everyone. I sucked up your good energy, took it all in and decided to push through the insecure feelings. I didn't want how I felt about myself to get in the way of us moving.
Your words and energy helped, a lot. Thank you !!!!
Another thing I did to help feel better was wrote a new formula for vegan chocolate chip cookies for Tim. Gotta say, first time using a mixer for cookies and wow, wow, wow.
Lastly, here's both my new banner and how I feel today ...
so proud of you and congratulations on taking the bull by the horns, or in your case the mixer by the electric cord. Wishing you much luck in your job hunting and a fantastic well paid positon at a company you will loveReplyDelete
Thank you bunches! Mixer by the cord. OMG!!! I love that. Now I gotta use that saying. It's just perfect. Sometimes, we just gotta take the mixer by the cord! Brilliant.Delete
Love that new banner. Glad you are feeling more confidence.ReplyDelete
Good luck on the job front.ReplyDelete

Hey Jan! I've got mushrooms on the shopping list. Been forever since I stuffed them. Yum. Thank you for your kindness and bright soul.Delete
Yay, Ivy! Any employer would be lucky to have you working for them! Good luck in the job hunt!ReplyDelete
Thank you, thank you. Taking the day off today and hitting the job sites again tomorrow!Delete
Good for you.ReplyDelete
Thanks, William. Happy 2023!Delete
Well done you. I am continuing to send buckets of positive energy your way.ReplyDelete
You guys all rock. I really did suck in all the good energy. So much so, it almost knocked me off my chair. Much thanks! Huggs.Delete
Well done. I could never Zoom. I like the new banner.ReplyDelete
Hey River. I got everything ready and it never happened. Ready if need be. To not do it gets in the way of us getting a house. So not fun for sure for me however, getting in front of the camera is something I've needed to push myself to do for awhile now.Delete
Thank you, Kathy! Happy flatbread making to you. So fun and easy. Yum. We make wraps and all kinds of things with ours. Then also I turn them into baked chips/crisps. Crazy fun. Happy Bread Making! Got some spelt dough in the fridge fermenting as I type.Delete
That's AWESOME! Good luck with the Zoom Interview!ReplyDelete
Thanks, Angie. Interview never happened. I'm set up for the next one.Delete
I can SO relate!!!!ReplyDelete
Got fired, fell deep, got ... looong (boring) story.
Despite people said I should say "I needed a time out" I told the truth. And got the job.
I wish you all the very, very best!!!!
Mix it, baby, you can do that!
So glad you got a new job. Sorry about the falling deep. Glad you're on your feet. How are you feeling today? Are you still sick? Hope better soon.Delete
YEAH!!! Way to go.ReplyDelete
Thanks, Ann. I enjoyed the drawings on your page! Art, rocks.Delete
Glad to hear you've gotten out of your head. I hate when insecurities get to me. Talk about negative energy, but sometimes I just can't talk myself out of that place. And how's the new mixer? Have you made anything yet?ReplyDelete
Hi Erika! Me too. I'm back to myself and that feels good. Thanks with the extra help from everyone. Here's to talking ourselves out of that way of thinking. OMG on the mixer. Today I made more cookies and more bread dough. Both spelt-based. So, so, so much fun. How are you today?Delete
Good for you, Ivy! You got this.ReplyDelete
OMG, I gotta do a cartoon that reads; I got this. That's too funny. Thanks, Alex.Delete
New Year! New Energy! New Banner! Glad you our going in the direction you want to go!!ReplyDelete
Hey Judee! Looks like you're making lots of good soups and foods. I commented though on my side, the top just spins and spins. LOVE soup!Delete

I'm so sorry about Chey, Pam. Very, very sorry. Biggest huggs and healing to you.Delete
Way to start the year--being positive! Good vibes will help along the way and you got a lot from your readers, here!ReplyDelete
Hey Stacy! Thank you. I'm feeling like my old self again. Happy Reading to you! And also burrrrr today. Cold here. Not as cold as Christmas weekend though. That was crazy. Did you get that by you too?Delete
Focus on the skills you have developed/refined during that time, what you can bring to them and what you want to do, Will you be moving your place or just yourselves and your pets?? Fingers crossed!ReplyDelete
Thanks! That's a great way to look at things. I for sure did a lot of stuff during that time. Awhile back we thought, move the trailer. Since we paid the mortgage off. However, after the last holiday weekend, with the water going out and the heat and just how broken down this place is, we need roof and floors need fixed, we decided to switch to a house. That said, say some crazy deal for land comes up and it's already plumbed (not sure that's the word), then we'll reconsider moving the trailer. Ideally though, no. We want to sell this and move on.Delete
Thanks for stopping at my blog. Happy New Year and hooray for a fresh start. Best wishes on the job interview.ReplyDelete
Loved your peppermint cheesecake idea! Happy New Year!Delete
We all have confidence in you! Love the banner.ReplyDelete

Hi Ginny! We're house hunting now. Exciting!Delete
I'm glad you're back Ivy. With your personality and energy you will ace those applications :-) It's an exciting new chapter for you. I have missed so many of your posts so I've subscribed to Netvibes, I hope it worksReplyDelete
Hi Polly! Thank you for the nice words. I never heard of Netvibes. Love the name though, netvibes. Sounds fun!Delete
Hi Ivy, it's on your sidebar under subscribe to blog. PS I like your new header :-)Delete
Oh Polly. I had no idea that's what the subscribe thing was. I put the Followers gadget back on the blog to make it easier. I never tried to sub through Netvibes. Didn't even know that's what it's called, I just put that sub to post and comments up through the Blogger gadget. Thanks for letting me know. Hopefully the old-style followers gadget works better for folks. Thanks about the header. Fun to change them out.Delete
Good that you are starting off the new year with positive reinforcement, that is a very important part to get you going :) Have fun with the new things you are taking onReplyDelete
Thanks, Connie! Loved your BIG LETTER cards. Lots of fun. This year to get my art on cards. Good energy is a must for sure. Thanks for stopping in and Happy Crafting to you! Cheers, Ivy.Delete
