GOODBYE MULTI TASKING

Hello Bloggers!

During the last week I went back to publishing videos and I LOVE it. Because this time, I'm JUST making videos. Where in the past, I'd do laundry, dishes and other chores in between scenes and edits. Now, I film, edit and schedule my video upload. No dish. No cleaning. No hanging the bedding over the back deck railing in between edits. Just video work.

It's heaven.

Which brings me to my 6 minute video, Mac 'n' Cheese Soup. I hope you enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed making it. For those who don't eat almond cheese, cow cheese would work too. Either way, it's a great way to use up leftovers.

Thanks for watching and boogie boogie.

PS: For anyone who watches the Curry Spiced Lentil Soup video, that was shot BEFORE I set into motion, no chores during work hours.

  4. I've never heard of a "Reaper chili pepper" before but the name alone suggests it will kill you DEAD if you eat too much! As well as the fact that you put in ONE whole seed, LOL!

    1. Thanks Gayle and Son of Gayle! It was yummy.

Thankfully, after getting rid of 95 percent of my stuff back in 2016, I don't own a lot HOWEVER, my pantry shelf is a fright right now. Fright I say, fright. I'll get to it maybe this weekend. We'll see. The rest of of the chores (aside from dishes. I hate dishes), but the rest are easy to maintain. Just not when working.

    1. Thanks! We have some birch and a few big honkin' black walnut trees. We did take down a couple of dead birches that weekend we cleared out. Gonna reuse them in the garden beds. Thanks for watching the vloggy part. I figured I'd add those for anyone interested. Thanks!

  17. I love your video and how upbeat and peppy you are while explaining the process! Keep them coming. I tried video a few times and decided I'm too lazy for all of the work that goes into them LOL. The soup sounds divine. We're getting another cold snap this week (booooo!) so soup is always a welcome treat to warm the bones.

    1. Hey Theresa! Thank you for the fun comment and kind words. I truly love making videos and food. Cold snap here now too. I have two shirts on and one is long sleeve. Burrr. Loved the black sand from your post. I've never seen that before. What kinds of soup do you fancy? I go through phases.

    2. I will never turn down a soup with potatoes in it. I hardly turn down any soup, to be honest. I love it year round! I'm glad you're enjoying the videos. Maybe you'll make a ton of money off of them on YouTube :)

Black sand is so neat, isn't it? I snuck a handful home to put in one of my vases, though I'm not sure if that's frowned upon or not there.

    3. Hey Theresa! As far as my goals are now, I won't turn on adverts. I find them annoying. But I guess, I can't say never will. But for now, no plans. I would do sponsored videos, if it was a product that I believed in.

Yes, that black sand was very cool. I would have took some home too! How fun is that. Just a little. Like in a mini jar. I'd have done that too.

      Delete
    4. Yes, sticking with products you believe in is always best for sponsorship. I turn down probably 99% of the offers that come my way. Not that they are bad products, but most just don't align with my brand or are not products I would use myself. I'm not sure how ads work on YouTube, but I do know it ticks me off when I'm really into a tutorial and an ad pops up. That happens on Facebook too, and yes, it is so dang annoying!

      Delete
    5. Yep, me too. I find those adverts don't serve the viewer. And same with on websites, when I just want to read a post and I'm getting hit, bam, bam, bam, bam and again with popups and adverts and flying things and videos playing in the corner. These are not helpful and I don't return.

      Delete
    6. Same. If I have to close out more than one pop up ad, best believe I'm leaving the website and never returning.

      Delete
    7. Ohhhhh, my gosh. Yes! Same.

    1. Hey Judee! It tasted like a lighter version of mac'n'cheese or, like a cheesy base with noodles but the noodles are more cheesey. But you make a good point, I need to explain the taste better when I'm there. Thank you. Oh my gosh, dehydrated onions in the pressure cooker ... I LOVE them. If you ever get a chance, tomato soup with dehydrated onion is AMAZING. I'll have to do a video on it. So yum. Thanks again, Judee. PS: Happy Eating!
