WORDY WORDLESS WEDNESDAY #18 (+ new banner day)

Hello Boogerbutts.

Been offline decluttering. With the new space, instead of building a winter reading nook in the bedroom, I made a sewing nook.

OMG. Best thing ever. I love it. But more on that another day.

In other news, I donated 7 bags of stuff on Tuesday and on Monday, tossed 10 bags of stuff.

In other, other news, dig my new heart waffle maker. Cannot wait to try it. I love all things hearts so this is a year-round toy. Can't wait to make heart waffle cookies.

I'm fixin' to spend two more days decluttering. Hoping to be done by Saturday or Sunday. So at least by Monday. Which is four days. I can't count. That's five days. Math is hard.

Thanks for stopping in. Be back on Blogger as soon as I'm done sorting, tossing, donating and all that fun stuff.

❤️ Huggs & Bugs, Me.

    1. Hey Ginny. I don't have a formula recipe I just take my own cookie dough, play with it to see what works and what doesn't and add it the waffle makes. Can make grilled cheeses too. All kinds of neat things like that. Even tater tot heart hashbrowns. Endless fun with a waffle maker.

Amazed you still have so much to declutter after you got rid of over half your stuff several years ago.

    1. HiYa Ann! This is small potatoes compared to back during The Great Declutter of 2016 - where 90 precent of my crap, went out the door in one way or another. This is a Ten-Year Re-Declutter of 2026 - just as fun but much simpler and smaller. Currently on a short break from putting all my clothes on the bed. Everything I own. Really fun though.

  10. How do we seem to accumulate stuff, Ivy? That’s what I keep asking myself when going through my own stuff and this week have been doing the same as yourself. Enjoy making the heart-shaped treats and the red photos were perfect.

    1. Wonderful to read. What categories have you gone through? Today I'm doing clothes and am on a short break now with every bit of clothing I own, on the bed. I'll go back soon and pull out and place back everything I actually wear, next.

How are you enjoying your declutter?

I did The Great Declutter of 2016 and that was HUGE. This, ten years later is much smaller and just as powerful to let go of. Really love that.

And what I love most is your new sewing corner... and the decluttering of your clothes—I'm already dreaming of sewing a quilt from old clothes; I think that's absolutely wonderful. And that's the origin of patchwork and quilting, after all.
Have fun! Happy crafting and working!

    1. Very cool on the dreaming of sewing a quilt from old clothes. Same! And bags. I'm into making all kinds of things right now. Got the decluttered upcycle clothes in two bags. 100 percent cotton and then the mixed fabrics. Gonna be fun. Excited to see what you come up with too.

  34. Seven bags of stuff, good for you! So many people would love to have the things you donated. It's so nice to de-clutter and give away things that we no longer want or need. Love your Valentine ribbon, and your heart Valentine cookies sound delightful. I have been going through things too and sorting and giving away. But you spending four days on this project is really something. That's impressive and great of You!
