Lots going on here this weekend, so much so that it didn't even feel like a weekend and that's okay because the shed is a few steps closer to being done AND, my cute little purple Bluetooth keyboard arrived. To sit and write on my new Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is heaven. Even got a cute little purple mouse to go with. Pictures to come.
In other news, Wiggy goes back to the vet this Tuesday for spinal tissue treatments. I don't know enough about them yet, though after one partial treatment, she began to move better as well as eat better.
I'll take it.
In other, other news, after this post, I'm headed to town for exterior yellow paint for the shed. I'm also itching to get a paint sprayer. Don't think I will today, though I'll take a look-see when I'm there for sure.
Below is the shed. Yesterday we removed to old framing, hinges and doors and built new. I tell you what, I loved doing this because we did it together AND saved what was savable from the old structure. LOVE that.
And that my Boogerbutts, wraps up the weekend report.
Chat again soon. Huggs & bugs,
- Me

DeleteThat shed will look awesome with a coat of yellow paint!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Excited to get cracking.
DeleteWe need to do that to our shed, my hubby has the door shut by screwing it shut, and it could use a paint job too. Hope wiggy does well with the treatments
ReplyDeleteWe had a big brick holding the door. That's funny about the screws. Thanks about Wiggy. Headed there today.
DeleteI think yellow is a perfect color for your shed. Looking forward to see what you decide. Glad Wiggy is moving a little better!
ReplyDeleteThanks. Went to Home Depot on Sunday. They matched a chalk paint yellow we had. What's cooking at your place today? Not sure yet here. Something with beans. I think.
DeleteThe shape of this shed looks nice and artistic. Any colour would brighten up the garden.
ReplyDeleteWishing Wiggy with speedy recovery.
thanks. We copied what was already here. Thanks about Wiggy.
DeleteThe shed is looking good!
ReplyDeleteThank you. Making anything yummy tonight? Not sure here yet. Something with beans.

ReplyDeleteHope your week is a wonderful one. Huggs back.
DeleteVery nice shed.
ReplyDeleteHello River. Thank you.
DeleteI am smiling at your comment about enjoying fixing the old shed. at age 86 and 78, it took both of us this morning at 5 am, 30 minutes to put the guts in the backof the commode that has been flushing itself for one year. Bob's bathroom. I bought the guts 1 year ago and he never did it, this morning it flushed itself 6 times in an hour. we did not like it, and it did take both of us to do it... old age has us by the throat. the shed looks super and can't wait to see it paintet yellow
ReplyDeleteRunning and flushing that much and many times. Oh my gosh. So glad you guys fixed it. yes. Something nice about teamwork. So very cool.
DeleteAlways good to have a productive weekend. Even better when you can work together to get things done. The shed is looking good.
ReplyDeleteI like the productive weekends. I'm shooting to be done with a good list of stuff by the first weekend of August.
DeleteA productive weekend is always good. Glad the first treatment helped Wiggy.
ReplyDeleteThanks Alex. We leave in a little bit. Hope it continues to improve her condition.
DeleteI love yellow for a shed such a happy color! You have been very busy and it looks like you are enjoying a new job too
ReplyDeleteCathy
Me too. I have many yellow paints and painted items. I love it too! Hope you're having a good week.
DeleteYou accomplished a lot and did a great job on the doors!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Marie! You did excellent jobs on your photography! So great to see what you get to see when you go out and about.
DeleteI can't wait to see how your shed looks when you paint it. I like how it has the essence of a mini-barn. Good luck with Wiggy's treatments too. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteThanks, Erika! It does look like a mini-barn. That's fun. Headed to Miss Wiggy's treatments in a few minutes. Huggs, back.
DeleteWhat a fabulous shed! Hope Wiggy gets on ok at the vet's.
ReplyDeleteHave a great new week.
Alison
Thank you Alison. Hope so too. Headed there in a bit for her first long treatment.
DeleteMy old house had a shed like this, mine stretched out in the back with amazing storage, even had a play built in the back for extra storage. Never forget when I first got it I thought I would never fill it...haha, filling it did not take long! What are you going to do with yoors.
ReplyDeleteHi Pam. That sounds like an amazing storage area. For ours, we don't use it for much. It houses our mower and a few other bits and bobs.
DeleteSo glad you are refreshing this! We need to a bit of refreshing to ours and we need to move it too (not looking forward to that). Yellow sound happy - go for the sprayer! You can use it for other stuff too.
ReplyDeleteMoving one sounds like a big job. Will you paint yours as well? Took a look at the sprayers they had our offer. Neither were the model I wanted for the price they asked. I'll look again though. Sounds like a fun toy. Have you sprayed?
DeleteYou really are having a busy week. Happy painting.
ReplyDeleteHey Sharon! Hope you're having a groovy day.
DeleteI love the shape of your shed, can't wait to see its renovation completed. Love how you both got on with this - I like it when couples do things together. We went through a box of old photos last night, no TV was involved and we had a great time.
ReplyDeleteHope Wiggy gets on fine with th treatment and is soon fully well.
Hugs, Neet xx
Hi Neet! Wiggy is currently chilling outside with me. I agree, working together rocks. Very cool on the photos. Sounds like a good time.
DeleteThe shed looks pretty cool!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ray!
DeleteSounds a busy weekend, and your shed looks good :)
ReplyDeleteI do hope Wiggy does well with the treatments.
All the best Jan
