I can understand that. I have mixed feelings myself. On one hand, it's quite noisy and clutter-filled. But, I'm still giving it a go. Honestly though, I like G+ better. MUCH better.
We have enough troubles figuring out "Face-Book''' a great end of the Week to you good Lady whisk... And hello to Gotridge manor from Marshville ... had Hello to you both...!
I had to get a twitter account for work (so I could follow my employer's twitter account). I have never sent out a tweet. And I've long since forgotten my password to my own account. I'm locked out!!!
I've done that with social media stuff as well, got myself locked out. Really though, Twitter is a lot of noise. We'll see. Giving it a go. Still like G+ MUCH better.
As I become more house bound I use my computer more. For the market, shopping, looking up stuff and blogging with my friends. Facebook and Twitter seems so mean. Plus every time I try to find something on facebook it seems I find pages full of the book they wrote. I would like to find Williams and Norma pages for the stuff they talk about. But my mind wanders so I forget. I wander a lot. Soon they will have to put a tracking device on me so they can find me as I walk off into the desert. I would rather be drawing or painting so I step away computer desk to my work table. Plus I have lots of things to do before I forget what I am doing.
Big Bang is funny. Back when I drew this cartoon the first time, Tim saw he had no pants and asked me where they were, so I added it in. I just forgot to draw them.
Although I am a member, I never use it, can't be bothered.

You're talking to someone who spends most of her time offline and doesn't use a mobile for social media, so I agree.
DeleteQuestion: What's been the toughest part for you in cutting back? What's been the best part of you cutting back?

I'm not on email or I would write you back there as well. Thank you for sharing your struggle. I hope you find N & W's pages.
DeleteDrawing and painting and just in general, being offline is a wonderful thing. Do you enjoy music or total quiet? I fancy both.
Good luck. Not a player.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
Delete"Where are my pants?"
ReplyDeleteI remember that line from The Big Bang Theory.
I'll never be a tweeter, it's just not my thing.

ReplyDeleteHow's the new place?
DeleteI love your drawing! LOL! Have fun on twitter! You need a cell phone for that, right? I don't have a cell phone.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteNo mobile phone needed for Twitter. I think Instagram does though. Or they did. Not sure what the insta-rules are these days.
Good for you Ivy, I still don't understand it all but it's okay, I look at it every couple of days. Great drawing;)
ReplyDeleteI find Twitter noise-filled but I'm giving it a go for a bit. G+ is more fun for me and, I get to control what goes in my feed, which is heaven.
DeleteHow about you? You like G+?
Hi Ivy ... I don't twitter, although Eddie does occasionally!
ReplyDeleteHope all goes well.
All the best Jan
Thanks, Jan. Giving it a go but so far, I enjoy G+ more than Twitter. Happy Summer.
