SAD LITTLE FACE

Hello Boogerbutts and welcome to another sad-face post. This thing I have knocked me back. The medicine is helping but boy am I ever ready to be over this mess.

I haven't baked in days. Days I say, days.

In other news, I wanna bake a cake in the electric pressure cooker. In my case, an Instant Pot. Though I pronounce that wrong because I still call it, instapot.

Maybe not a cake. Maybe a banana bread with chocolate chips. Or walnuts. Or both. Either way, I'm giving the instapot a go. Might be good. Might be gross. Let's find out.

In other, other news, I'm once again headed back to work only this time for a quick shift, followed by Sunday off. Before I shuffle off to Buffalo, I give you my life in cartoons.

Until next post, huggs and bugs, Me.

  1. There's nothing worse than feeling poorly and wanting to do things but you just can't get your body to agree.
I found a recipe for peanut butter cookies made in an air fryer. I haven't tried it yet but I want to. I'm a peanut butter addict.

  4. Sorry to read you're still not back on your feet. The cold I had a couple of weeks ago left me coughing and blowing my nose for almost 2 weeks. I hope you don't have it. I hope you get back to baking soon and I also call it an instapot. hugs-Erika

  11. I hope you feel better. Banana chocolate chip bread is Yummy. It's a tradition for my son-in-law to bake one for everyone every Christmas. Have a restful and peaceful Sunday.

  16. Oh no, I do hope whatever you have passes quickly. I tried a beef casserole in my slow cooker a couple of weeks ago and it was okay, but lacked that "something" that only comes from proper oven baking.

  20. Hopefully you can get back to baking very soon. It is sad when just getting through the day takes every bit of energy leaving none for something as enjoyable as making a loaf of banana bread.
