I've entered the extreme coupon game. Only I'm not interested in stuff like 50 free candy bars or 80 boxes of crappy white pasta.
Instead, I'll buy ingredients to help reduce the cost my cookery book, and save money for our household.
I'm ready to kick some coupon butt.
You mean buy twenty - save a dollar doesn't appeal to you?
ReplyDeleteAlex: Yeah, not so much. Or the get 34 free cans of crappy soup after buying two roaster birds.
ReplyDeleteBut the overall adventure will be fun.
Saving money is always good! Happy shopping!
ReplyDeleteThanks. I love buying ingredients. Hope your weekend is going well.
ReplyDeleteBoogie, boogie, boogie.
The battle of the budget never ends. The prices keep going up and up. I've got a family of four to feed and it's hard. Saving money anyway you can is a good idea. Put it into that book and retire a wealthy woman.
ReplyDeleteAnne: They really do keep going up and up. There's some things that I won't even buy anymore because they just priced themselves out of my budget.
ReplyDeleteWe'll have to find some way to "suggest" the idea of a flag for us and then team up to "persuade" him. I suggest using our combined feminine wiles.
ReplyDeleteAnne: Maybe combined wiles and a warm plate of potato pancakes, would do the trick.
ReplyDeleteLove the new banner! I wish I still had my wonder woman underoos. I loved those things. lol
ReplyDeleteI wish i could be better with coupons. I never remember them so I dont bother. But good luck with yours!
I watched "extreme couponing" on tv one night and was amazed at what these people bought. Besides the fact, half the stuff would go bad before I ate it, I just don't have the room for it.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your adventure.
Pk: Underoos? That's great. Thanks for the good wishes, I am excited for the challenge.
ReplyDeleteAnne Gallagher: I enjoy that show but have no use for things that I won't eat and don't like. There's a fine line between extreme couponing and hoarding.
I'm going for practical.
Good for you. I tend to throw the coupons in my wallet, then throw them out once they've expired *sigh* :)
ReplyDeleteJemi: I have done that as well.
ReplyDeleteDid someone say potato pancakes?
ReplyDeleteHere we go again the Queen of couponer!!!)-D
