NADA, NADA, NADA + CINNAMON SUGAR DOUGHNUTS (because yum)

Things are coming along with the kitchen. Today we moved Tim's long butcher block table with black hair pin legs to the kitchen pegboard wall and my old table next to his writing desk in the office. This should be the last round of Table Tetris until we move, move, move.

As for move, move, move, nada on the houses.

Nada. Nada. Nada.

As for baking and writing food, that started back this past weekend with banana cake, soon to turn them into banana doughnuts. Pictures to come. In the meantime, dig these cinnamon sugar mini doughnuts I made awhile back.

My gosh, I love autumn! I love everything about it.

Tomorrow I hope to hit the local restaurant store and add to my Halloween baking collection. Pictures to come of that as well. For now, the air fryer is chirpping which means it's almost time to sit, eat and watch more Halloween Baking Championship.

LOVE that show. LOOOOOVE it!

I'm also still LOOOOVING my new Samsung tablet, with pretty purple bluetooth keyboard and mouse. Lots of food writing and blogs to come from this new space.

And that my Boogerbutts is all that's fit to print. This is Ivy, reporting live from the new kitchen butcher block bench, under the kitchen peg board wall.

Back to you in the studio.

Huggs & Bugs,
- Me

    1. Yum, Mari! Pumpkin bread sounds delightful. Is it similar to banana bread?

    1. Hey Cheryl! I love the spices of autumn, pumpkin and all that silly stuff. It cracks me up the things companies come up with. Though I don't buy them, I just make my own pumpkin spiced silliness at home. Wishing you a great new week ahead.

  5. I'm not a big fan of donuts unless they are cream filled (real cream not that fake muck) or custard filled. I do like butcher block tables though and wish I had one or even room for one.

    1. Butcher blocks are fun. Not too much money if you just buy the top piece and add legs too it, if you ever decide to give it a go.

    1. Cooking or baking? I'm not really all that into cooking shows. Baking shows though, I'm into Halloween and holiday baking. It's the best!

Fun that she collects books. Must bring her peace and happiness to flip through them. I love that!

  25. Super cool to make donuts and banana ones sound wonderful. Hoping your house dreams come true soon. I love the Halloween baking shows too - amazing and I have such envy on their fun skills and wish I had them too. Even my grandsons love to watch them. I did get a skull shaped waffle maker and they think I am super cool - lol. Love the way you write, Ivy.

  26. Hi, Ivy! Your icon was one of the ones I spotted early on in the IWSG. Your donuts look so yummy! I'm sorry that your houses aren't coming together right now. It will happen when it's supposed to. We bid for house after house in Arizona and Nevada with no luck. It was the best thing that could have happened because Colorado is a better place for us. If we had succeeded in one of our bids, it would have been a big mistake. I'm sure it's hard to wait with the uncertainty though. Take care!

    1. Actually, it's okay. I don't mind that we haven't found one that we want to live in yet. We will, eventually. Glad you were able to move to Colorado and find a great place to live. That's a happy ending story for sure. Cheers and boogie boogie.
