I just finished watching Food Safari Hungarian and I loved it, because it reminded me of ingredients and methods that I grew up with and still use.
I'm looking forward to watching the rest of the series. And I'm even more excited about making many of the dishes.
I might not be able to afford to travel the world and taste everything, but thanks to this show, I can bring a little of everything, right to my own kitchen table.
And that is very, very cool.
A food safari would be tasty!
ReplyDeleteNever watched the show, but I've caught some of No Reservations, and it's cool to see unique food from around the world.
Cool beans. Thanks for sharing.
DeleteI haven't seen it but whatever those are on your header look yummy :)
ReplyDeleteThey are Garbanzo beans, roasted until crunchy with Hungarian paprika, Kosher salt and cayenne pepper. Super duper yummy.
DeleteI haven't heard of it before, but I do watch almost all cooking shows on TV.
ReplyDeleteReally my kind of show. Hope you give it a go.
DeleteNope not seen it or even heard of it!
ReplyDeleteDo you watch any shows about food?
DeleteWhen I was at Uni a few years ago (stop sniggering - it was a few) there was a late night "yoof" cookery show that was completely bonkers, but provided some great recipes for student cooking. I've just found a website for it: http://www.getstuffed.info/index.html
ReplyDeleteIt looks as though some or all of the episodes might be on Netflix, but there are a few on the site itself
Thank you so very much, Tamsin. I'm super duper excited to give this a watch. Thanks bunches.
DeleteI haven't heard of it! Enjoy watching it!
ReplyDeleteDo you have a favorite food show?
Deletehaven't' heard of the show
ReplyDeleteIt's so much fun.
DeleteNever heard of the show, but then I don't watch cooking shows. I'd have to love to cook to do that, and well... you know! Haha!
ReplyDeleteThat's understandable. Hope you have a groovy weekend.
DeleteI haven't seen it, but it sounds great for someone with your culinary talents!
ReplyDeleteHey Norma. I saw your post but when I read spoiler alert I backed out because I wasn't sure what was being spoiled, or if you were going to talked about spoiler alerting people. Anyway, Happy Weekend.
DeleteYes, it is a total awesome show! I love the intro in particular with how they do landscapes out of spices and the host is awesome.
ReplyDeleteThe landscape bit is cool.
DeleteI've never seen that one, but love catching up on food shows. Love that so much is available online.
