I shot these lemons yesterday. They make me smile. And they remind me of the Irish lemon shortbread I made using ground almonds, good butter and organic lemons.
You'd be proud of me, Whisk. I have some extra money in my wallet and am going to pick up some specialty food items to experiment with, as opposed to miniatures. ;)
Sounds like fun.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! Those pics are gorgeous. And the Irish shortbread sounds delish!
ReplyDeleteYesterday felt more like the first day of spring, here. The sun was so bright and warm. Just worked great for the lemons.
ReplyDeleteThanks guys and Happy Eating to you both.
Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteThe photos look nice! And the Irish shortbread sounds Yum!
Thanks, Nas. And the Irish shortbread lasted a good long while. Though they were a little heavy, they had tons of lemon taste. Happy Eating to you.
ReplyDeleteso yellow! 'course, I was thinking the other kind of shots...
ReplyDeleteglad you liked my mom memory :)
@ mshatch - I thought the same. What you read is not always what you get with Whisk titles, but that's a part of the fun!
ReplyDelete@ The Happy Whisk - I was tempted to mention this talent when it got thoughtful at The Flaming Faggot yesterday. They're also a kind of food:

Those are some beautiful lemons! :) Happy New Year to you!
ReplyDeleteI really like the layout of the lemons! I love lemon juice on smoked salmon or on a salad!
ReplyDeleteI was thinking of tart take on a Jello Shot. The short bread sounds tasty and the pics are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHey Guys. Nice to see you all here. I've been snuggled on the couch, in my jams, enjoying the day off from work.
ReplyDeleteI never had a Jello shot before, Rusty.
Thanks for the nice words, Bartender. I loved shooting them.
Hi Donea, thanks and Happy New Year to you.
And big hellos to MS and Porky, as well.
You'd be proud of me, Whisk. I have some extra money in my wallet and am going to pick up some specialty food items to experiment with, as opposed to miniatures. ;)
