FRED FLINTSTONE

My new Vitamix is almost here and I'm jumping out of my skin. Tim just texted me an image of the box (he's in town during his work day and picked the Vitamix up at the post). He should be home soon. My first Vitamix!

OMG. OMG. OMG. OMG.

In other news, apologies for taking too long answer everyone back from last Thursday. I like to do it within 24-48 hours.

In other, OTHER news, I went to Wally and bought all the same clothes to wear throughout the entire winter. If you want to hear more about it, I've dropped the short podcast link below. It's the cast titled, Fred Flintstone by The Happy Whisk.

I tell ya, it's only day one of it but so far, I love it. Gonna try it for the full winter to see how it goes. And that means, this weekend, I get to ditch all my ratty old, badly beaten up, hole-filled, food/paint-stained clothes.

Insert happy face here.

I'm also at anchor.fm/TheHappyWhisk (and on iTunes).

Or .... check out how I air-fry raw peanuts and roast red peppers (be warned, some called the roasted pepper video gross). That's okay with me, because I flippin' LOVE my air fry oven.

LOVE IT!!!!

    1. I tell you what, Stacy. It's Day 2 or 3 of me doing it this way and so far I freakin' love it. I got up today, it's the weekend, my clothes are ready. And we're headed out soon. I freakin' love it. Not sure if it will wear off or how long I'll love it but for right now, it's soooooo easy! (and fun).

  11. Exciting! Have you used it yet? I'll have to look it up and see what it's all about.

Loved the podcast! Good stuff about the clothes. When I find a shirt I like, I buy all the colours I like that it's available in. I like to keep my wardrobe small and simple 'cause I don't give a rat's ass about fashion and stuff.

    1. Hi Martha! That's how we did as kids too. My one gram would find a shirt she liked and then buy it in all the colours! This is similar, only everything is in black.

I have used my new blender and it is CRAZY good. I went with the least expensive model and got such great deals.

      Best. Blender. EVER!!!!

    1. Hi Maria. I'm a year into using one and I'll never stop. It's just a small fan oven but boy, does it pack a punch. Baking, cooking, reheating. It does it all. Glad your daughter loves hers, too.

    1. Oh my gosh, Rebecca. I got mine for 230 bucks on QVC. I went with the E310, no dry goods container. With coupon codes, holiday specials and opening the QCard, I had to make the jump. I FREAKIN' LOVE it. It makes everything so good. I don't even know if I can pick just one favorite. But I will say, money well worth it. Thanks for stopping by today!
