Dragging My Knuckles

I've fed all the monsters and I'm still a tad on the tired side. Not so tired that I'm dragging my knuckles across the kitchen floor, but not so awake that I'm throwing Tim out and blitzing through chores, either.

I'm sorta in the middle, though that might not be true because as I'm typing, my eyes were closed.

I wanted to get some sauce on this morning but since I'm almost sure I'll be napping soon, I best not. Though later, the plan is to bake organic chicken meatballs. Tim loves them, they last awhile and are delish.

But for right now, I'm just gonna take another snooze, even though it's not even eight in the morning yet.

Zzzzz.

  4. I did go to bed earlier than usual last night. Hopefully, that will work for me. If I get sleepy this afternoon, I'm definitely going to try that napping thing. Hope yours does the trick! :)

  6. A nap always works for me. I'm making sauce today as well. The sauce is for cheese/onion enchiladas for Sunday. Just going to let it cook slow. It stores in the frig. for a couple of weeks. Have a great day and I hope you feel better. Thank you for stopping by. Love your dogs picture.

  7. Sometimes the battery needs a little boost. And what better way than with a nap. I'm taking a little break and getting ready for lunch. Got the first coat of pain on a couple of doors, and touched up some baseboards. I can paint all day. It's the preparation and cleanup that I cannot stand!

  8. I know the feeling, Ivy. Last week, my blood pressure went so high, my neurologist wrote "suspected cardiovascular disease" on my exit form.

    I'm a big fan of naps. Hope you got to enjoy one today!

  15. I didn't want to but I was so tired I had to take a nap. Even though I am having a sleep study run tonight.
    I am always so tired that my brain hurts all the time.
    Hope your nap fluffs you up and you feel better.
