Today, I want to see what happens when I put my chocolate cookie dough in the waffle stick maker. For the first batch I'll use my cookie dough as is and for the second batch, I'll increase the liquid.
This is what I love. Writing and figuring it all out. Like a big cookie puzzle, just waiting to be solved.
And I love it.
Even if they look bad, I bet they'll taste good!

DeleteI'm currently in the phase of experimenting with yeast free savoury scones. I've tried making them so far with water, milk, yoghurt, mineral water, ketchup, potatoes.... even mayo :)
ReplyDeleteWhen it comes to cakes, here in Europe the current trend is to have layered cakes with two different fillings and also cakes soaked in sugar syryp so I'm experimenting with those as well
That all sounds like great fun. When you say ketchup, is it a tomato vinegar style or something else? Tomato ketchup is something I've been meaning to learn to make myself.
DeletePeople here cook their own tomato juice and ketchup for winter, usually in September , but here I meant the normal ketchup you buy in shops, if you put a few spoons of it in your dough the scones are softer and tastier :) The same goes for mayo. I generally do not eat ketchup, just in some recipes. I prefer ajvar, which is our national type of roasted pepper relish with garlic.
DeleteWe can for winter, here as well. It just makes good sense. BUT, I've never made ketchup like in the market. Though I always make me own tomato sauce for pizza and pasta. Can't beat it. Just tastes sooo good.

ReplyDeleteWas going for more of a cookie texture and style waffle treat, rather than just a plain chocolate waffle. At this point, they need a rewrite, but that's the fun of it.
