hey they shopper! hope you had fun... miss you lots.. I am sitting here playing old songs for Bob on YouTube at 4:24 am, if that tells you anything about my life these days. think Inkspots, The Platters, Willie Nelson 30's, 40's 50's anything with the old swaying swing sound..
@MadSnapper: I love that you played the music and I hope it helped. I'm sorry it's a rough go on your end. Your spirit though, is amazing. You really are Wonder Woman.
I collect fabric - don't do anything with it. I always plan to. I also am drawn to the fabrics of pretty dresses and skirts at thrift stores. I cute up the dress and keep the fabric. I wonder if there is a sickness name for fabric hoarding?
Using up stuff is wonderful. I'm using what I have but also, enjoying small purchases of new as well. Though back in 2016 I donated a bunch of fabric. Either way, happy using up your fabric. That's fun too!
I hope you got some goodies at the fabric shop. That was always a fun place for my sister to visit, as she sewed quilts and such. I think you would love the little doll that was sewed on my post today. ; ) Keep on sewing, my friend. It's such a talent, and I appreciate the seamstress very much.
Good Morning. Just wanted to tell my seamstress friends about the doll that Mia made. I think you will like it. Happy St. Patrick's Day! Are you wearing green? I wore my green sweater this morning, and headed over to the grocer store. ; ) Have a happy day!
LOOOOOOVE the doll that Mia made. OMG. So cute. So so so so cute. Love that she made that. Happy St Paddy's Day! Fun day to wear green! Hope you got some goodies at the market. Thanks for telling me about Mia's doll. So fun.

ReplyDeleteIt is said that buying fabric and sewing are two different hobbies.
DeleteI haven't been to a fabric shop in years, not since I bought fabric to make a curtain and a couple of pillowcases for "no-one"

DeleteI got rid of most of my extra fabric when we moved. There has been a couple of times when one of those scraps would have come in handg.
ReplyDelete*handy*
DeleteThat's understandable when moving.
DeleteFunny, my brain read handy the first go. The brain filled it in.
DeleteHarvey prefers that I go fabric shopping alone.... Mind you I am trying to use things up before purchasing more. Hope you found lovely fabrics.
