  1. Good for you using up what you have and not just storing the fabric. Wishing you a very happy Easter.

  2. Adoption? Clever! I know (and love) two sewing enthusiasts and that is definitely the best way to describe how much they love their fabric.

  5. That's great that you're using up the fabric that you have. Im always reluctant to cut into new fabric for fear of messing it up.

    1. Happy Easter🐰Do you use make-up remover pads? I made Snoopy ones. Very fun. Washable. I also made reusable dish washing towels with Snoopy and then some pink fabric with daises. Really fun. What kind of fabric did you accumulate?

    2. My sewing friends give me bits and pieces of fabric left over from their projects. Most are in the 2 to 3 inch range. Some day I will find a way to use them. I sew paper to paper and make books I call scrappy or visual journals. Also, I use only variegated thread. You can check my visual journals out here: https://alteredbooklover.blogspot.com/search/label/visual%20journal

  24. You posted an adorable bunny girl. I love how you create these drawings. Speaking of material...I know nothing about fabrics. I was having a special "Senior" skirt designed for Mylee (our graduating senior) and you would not believe how much wasted material I now have. I bought 4 yards when I should have bought 1. lol... I have to laugh at myself because I know nothing about sewing, patterns or material. Happy Easter Ivy.

    1. Love that you jumped in. Fun! Hey, better to have a little extra of the material you like for the skirt. As for it being wasted, you might be able to make reusable makeup remover pads or little dish washing clothes. That's what I did with Snoopy. Happy Easter 🐰🐣PS: What did you decide to do about the camera for shooting graduation?

    1. Hey Jo! The last three trips to get fabric I didn't get any because they didn't have what I wanted for a project so that's how I decide to buy new or not. Now had they had the stuff I was looking for, bing, bam, boom. In the bag and home I go.

Do you have particular projects you like to do?

    1. Loved that big tree you shared with the decorations. What a fun thing to do each holiday. Yarn, I no longer have a lot of. Donated half of it recently and then a decade ago, I had to donate all of it because my hands were not liking it. The yarn I kept this time though, is this really, really nice cotton that is good on my hands. I don't want to adopt hobbies. Use it and done. Then buy more.
