    1. Thanks, Ginny! The rolls were tasty though when we used them as sandwich rolls the tops sorta didn't stay all the way together. Was tasty though. And fun. Wishing you a groovy weekend.

    1. Hi Alex! The jars change out depending on what's being made the most (as I have many, many other jars off to the side pantry shelf). In these jars we have strong flour, sprouted wholemeal spelt, corn flour, a gluten free bean based flour, 00 flour, homeground bean flours, three kinds of salt, including fart salt. Very, very fun to play!

    1. Just got back from your blog and my heart goes out to you both. So glad he's feeling better and wow, wow, how cool that you got to make him food from home. This is a wonderful, wonderful thing. I don't even know if I would have thought of that so thank you my friend. I've enjoyed getting to know you on the blog. So fun!!!!!

I left you a candle report and I tell you what? I cannot, cannot wait until day 14 to light sugar cookie. The sale for wax is still going on two more days this week and I might pop in for one more brick. Though for the scent, I might wait (since it's not part of the sale), to see how the sugar cookie does.

      Crazy fun.

  9. Cute new models, Ivy, and are those pretzel rolls with sesame seed toppings? And, I too am curious about the jar contents, perhaps various flours for baking bread and making pasta?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hi Beatrice. These are plain rolls with sesame however ... as I was making them I thought this would be fun for a pretzel as well. Pretzels are a lot of fun to make though I find best to eat fresh. Leftover or at least mine, the pretzel salt starts to eat at the dough and the overall leftover not so yummy.

Fresh homemade pretzels though are HEAVEN!

  14. super girl has attitude, I see with your jars there is only ONE WHISK! what's up with that? ha ha ha.... I have been craving a real biscuit, the old time kind, big and fluffy. the rolls will do, if you can send one through the transporter.

    ReplyDelete

    1. It's true, I only have one whisk. Though I am often tempted to get one of those teeny tiny ones that are so stinkin' cute.

Country biscuit sounds good, if that's the kind you mean. I enjoy those too!

  16. I do love rows of sparkling jars of stuff all neat and tidy. My pantry is mostly plastic containers, not as heavy as jars which is better for older people like me. If we drop one, there's no broken glass to accidentally step on. Vey cute Wonder Woman.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Thanks, River. Yes, I agree about the glass. And I've broken many even the lighter smaller ones. I break a lot of stuff in my kitchen. Just sorta the way of things. That said, there are some excellent plastic and lighter options on the market. With fun lids too!

  32. Those rolls look so good. I think I could have one (or three) with just a dab of butter alone. It look like sesame seeds on top? That polka dot elephant is darling. I'm a polka dot girl, so I noticed it right away. And I remember her from the Island of Misfit toys. ; )

I hope the remainder of your January days are pleasant ones.

    1. It is yes, sesame seeds. A fun little add. The Island of Misfit Toys! Yes. I wish they sold the little girl too with this set. Thank you. Here's to the rest of your January as well. My gosh, it went fast! Whoosh.

  33. The rolls do look tasty! There's nothing as satisfying as a pillowy soft roll! Sweet little toys, too. I am always collecting jars, and my husband doesn't understand why and throws them in the recycle bin behind my back. So, I have to hide them until I find something he likes to eat to put inside them! Glad that January is going by fast. x K

  34. thanks for the love and comment on my post of a cry for help. all the comments have made me feel better already, I did not cry for the hour it takes to get the three of us up each day. I have cried the entire hour each day for four days. I think spewing it all out on the blog and to the PA helped release the pressure pot of steam. I took the first pill about an hour ago, will take it with my first cup of coffee each day... I am ok and already feeling better.
talking does help.... and hearing all the positive comments really helps...

What you're going through is not easy and it's just kinda a lot for sure. You are, as I believe you to be, even with the tears (nothing wrong with crying), you are Wonder Woman! Truly.

  37. I would love to see the deer sometime around your neck of the woods. I usually get a pic or two, but these two just stood for a moment, and then went off into the woods. I see them in my neighborhood, especially at Fall, and even on my front lawn! They are such special animals, and I'm glad you see them around your area too. I don't have an Aldi here, but looking forward to seeing your mushroom Valentine. ; )

    1. Love that they stood still. Pretty creatures. Same, they are in our front garden, back of the woods and go up to the bird feeder next door. How they reach, I dunno but they do. Ohhh, on the ALDI. Okay, I might have forgotten that. Grocery Outlet you have, us too. I like the odd bits and bobs that show up there. I like to go and walk around. Mushroom Valentine coming up! If I could, I'd telaport you one.
