WORDLESS WEDNESDAY #11 (now with la la las and maybe some words, plus more words)

Tim asked me how many Christmas movies I watched this year and I'm not even sure but the answer is a lot. Many. So many.

Here's the best line I heard yesterday in a Christmas movie.

"Is the Easter Bunny here?"

"No."

"Okay, good. I need to focus."

That interaction cracked me up.

27 broken candy canes awarded to anyone who knows what movie that was from. Along with 3 stinky stockings and a handful of elf approved gummy bears.

In other news, I failed to make it through this Wordless Wednesday. I might have to start Mouthy Monday. I'd be good at that one.

And that my Boogerbutts, is all that's fit to print. Wishing you all a yummy rest of the holiday season with lots of fa, la, la, las, along with a kickbutt 2026.

I dunno about you ... but I'm excited to make a few BIG changes in 2026.

Bring it on.

Huggs & Bugs, Me.

  2. I can't even tell you the name of the movie I watched last night. I wish I could watch all the Christmas movies. Bob controls the remote. Prime/Netflix/Cable there are hundreds of them right now. I have watched 4 only. I could watch them on computer but just not the same for me. the 5 weeks Bob was in hospital/rehab I watched one every night when I came home, walk in the door, feed and take out Beau, sit down with my dinner and watch Christmas Movie.
they are easy on the mind and soothing, I know what will happen, don't have to focus to figure out what is going on. that was in July/august. I agree with you about the cell phone downloads being Stoopid... maybe the reason you are so happy all the time is you don't have a smart phone.. now that is smart

    1. Wishing you a Happy Christmas! It's true. I LOVE my dumb phone. I love that you watched one per day like that. Can you watch them on your tablet? I sometimes watch them on the laptop with headphones when I'm cleaning. Got pretty neat wireless headsets. How's the pup feeling today?

    2. I had a dumb phone for about 7 years, but when it died I got the first tiny cheap smart phone and fell in love.. now I have the 7 inch one so I can see it better. Beau is fine right now, he is sick with something and I don't know what but made it through the holidays without getting sick.

    3. This is my bad for saying dumb phone. I actually have a smart phone it's just all the google stuff sorta ripped out and uninstalled where possible. The phone can't go online - so I call it dumb phone. Sorry about the confusion. That said, say I traveled for work or didn't want to go on a desk top, laptop and/or tablet, then I'd let that phone go online. But since I have the noise elsewhere, I keep my phone quiet. So I guess, more of a quiet phone sorta thing.

So glad that Beau is fine right now. Here's hoping he stays that way throughout the year ❤️

Wishing Sam lots of good healing into 2026 - If I can be of ANY help with alternative foods and/or ingredients, please stop in and ask. I'm an alternative baker, it's what I do. Happy to help if I can. I get that strain of not being able to eat many different things. Been there.
